Not as good as you think
At first glance the options look great, we spotted the Jet2 logo and as we use them a lot it seemed the perfect gift. However, when you go onto the website you find that you have (as with many other options) to book through Inspire Travel. A like for like holiday with Jet2 was over £1000 more expensive than the official Jet2 website. The only option we could see that we could get the best value of the gift was airbnb. Then comes the next catch. The site only allows you to process a limited batch value of money for the new vouchers they will email to you. Our gift of £500 then cost us £8.75 to redeem which I am sure the sender would not be happy with.

Spotting the Jet2 logo and assuming you could book directly with Jet2 is completely understandable, so we do appreciate how disappointing it must have been to find that all Jet2Holidays gift card bookings are handled solely through Inspire Travel. Their pricing and booking structure are entirely their own. We’re only a reseller of the Jet2Holidays by Inspire Gift Card, and we don’t have access to their internal systems or any influence over how they set their holiday prices.
Regarding the redemption fee: our part in the process is to securely handle the purchase of the gift card itself, and the service fee is what allows us to offer a broad and reliable range of gift cards while safely managing the underlying transactions. The fee is shown clearly as soon as a gift card is added to the shopping basket, so nothing is hidden or added later. And of course, we also provide many gift cards with no fees at all, for those who prefer a simpler option.

Absolutely hate being given a gift card like this. I can book many if not all hotels cheaper than using the card.
Not an easy way to shop , the use of the card isn't easy or obvious. Difficult in many ways
