What a treasure - we didn't know what to expect and we were enchanted by the scale and vision of this jewel. A real feeling for the hardscrabble history of the stone cutting families of old, and an oasis of peace and greenery.
This garden is well worth a visit. The passion and vision of the owners clearly comes across and what they have done is incredible. Not just a garden too by a history of one of the main industries on this island. Highly recommend.
I visited the Garden of the Impossible on a recent trip to western Sicily. It is a beautiful and inspiring experience. Not to be missed.
The website to book was very difficult and I passed that information on to ‘welcome guide’. You can buy the ticket at the garden.
Lovely garden and reception area.
Remarkable setting and collection of plants.
Well worth the walk / cycle.
Really beautiful garden with extensive information (also in english) if you want to learn more about the plants and history of the place. Lovely seating area if you want to chill out afterwards.
Fabulous garden in an old quarry - a true labour of love. A warm welcome and good notes in English on history and planting. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
