Ghost Book Writing 

I believe they are a legit company, but their customer service and the work they put in on your project is very bad. I had 1/3 of their work on my book and I was constantly fixing their mistakes. I became fed up when they had to “evacuate” their office in San Francisco and two of my assigned project managers quit. They blocked all communication with me and the only way I was able to get a refund was filing a dispute with my CC company.
I do not know if their office in San Fran is a front, but there isn’t anyone native to the English language there, which should have been my ticket to not go with them. Not to be discriminatory, but my book is about me (a native to the US) and they took my jokes in the book and changed it very literal.
Lesson here is: you get what you pay for. After interviewing lots of editors and ghostwriters, the price is $10k+
It is a lot, but I want terrific work on my book, not a company who is going to dish out horrible work.
I suggest not going with this company for your needs and I highly recommend filing a dispute with your CC company to get your money back if you already paid them.

This is a scam site, I contacted them and asked them to write a biography on the Wikipedia site, and to document my social media account , because i heard from someone that they offer this service , and they asked me to transfer the 1500 pounds, and after transferring the amount they kept excuse every time, and this matter from November 2020 to the date today March 2021, and after I got angry with them and asked to return the money, they blocked me from WhatsApp, and also when I sent emails to them, they banned me from the mailing list .... and the people I dealt with personally are zack and nethan

If this is the US company based in San Fransisco then it’s fake reviews and the company are scammers from India or Pakistan .Address is fake . No native English speakers and they have a system in place to scam people . Reviews are fake with 5 stars. Stay away ! They are being investigated.

This company doesn't deserve any star. This is one of the worse companies one can use. When I decided to hire them to edit my book, I shared with them that I had a company that had scammed my money and the Manager Dennis Richards assured me by emailing me several times that they will be done with my book at the end of January. I have been texting him, email him, and the so-called Project Manager's Rita email is bouncing back. I haven't received any updates as was promised during the contract. My book was supposed to be done by 01/28/2021. It is not done, and I cannot get the company to communicate back to me. DO Not use this company. They are scammers

The email of your rep comes back returned as non deliverable.

The phone number of the business hangs up and does not allow to get to any extension.

The portal is not active.

For the record, I am a very patient man.
I mean that I can take on a lot of nonsense without it getting under my skin.
But I'm not sure if the people at Ghost Book Writing think their home office is in a unreachable dimension or what. I simply can't comprehend their thought pattern, "oh we took your money and cut off all communications with you, so what are you going to do about it?"

LONG STORY LONG...
I am a writer, with a grammar problem. I went to Ghost Book Writing to get my book professional edited. I paid with money received from my recently deceased mother (my last gift from her). I planned on using the money to move to LA, but I thought my mother would have wanted me to fulfill my dream of being a published author. Plus, they sold themselves as a one stop shop. Editing, and publishing. So I took a chance.
The 90 day program huh, let’s just say that I received my welcome email in 2/2020 my book was finally available for sell in 10/2020.
But I wasn't done being their mark. They came after me for an additional $400 to pay for my ISBN number making my book available in paperback. I found out this after my book was nearly completed.. I sent them two ISBN numbers for the book which i published unedited years beforehand, one from the website BOOKRIX the other from CREATESPACE. Createspace actually printed my book in PAPERBACK and it didn't cost me anything but the regular cost of the book. I was told by GBW that neither of my books ISBN numbers were valid and I needed to purchase their number instead.
I was under the understanding that my initial payment covered both Amazon and Barnes & Noble publishing. Now I am being told that there is an additional fee for B&N.
So after lowering my anger level off the fire and brimstone stage I again agreed to pay for B&N placement and the paperback version.
Why you ask? Easy answer.
This was right before Christmas, if I could get the books in time, I could have ran a Christmas special. But there was no paperback, no B&N placement.
So after Christmas I requested a refund of my last payment. After two days I finally heard back from them.
On December 29, 2020 I was promised my refund within 7-10 business days.
I am writing this review on 1/25/2021 because I have yet to received one cent of my money.

I am getting angry and more upset.
I am sick and tired of this good for nothing company. So if you are working with Matt Harvey & Lisa Taylor's team my advice...
RUN LIKE HELL from them.
They are scammers and unprofessional.
Oh did I mentioned these people put out my book with the title misspelled ON THE COVER?!

I am very satisfied with Ghost Book Writing. They have delivered my book manuscript and project on time and did a great job in proofreading/editing and publishing my book. They were a great help and gave me great advice. Their team is very supportive.

I am not going to lie, I was skeptical at first but they nipped that in the butt very quickly by sticking to their company process and the actions that followed. Experiencing work with the Ghost Book Writing was, for sure, an amazing one. I wanted some illustrations that would please the eyes of my social media audience, and I had some ideas as well. I went on a call with their Lead Designer and told him my idea. Not even did he understood my concept, he even gave me suggestions to make the work even better. He took less time to make illustrations than he had promised earlier, and the work quality was better than I had expected. Great work guys, I am coming again in the future.

I reached out to this company after doing a Google search for ghost writing a book. They said all the right things and offered a package that really did seem too good to be true, but also with a money-back guarantee.

Luckily, though, in their email containing the contract for me to sign, they had links to books they listed as having worked upon. Like I said, it all seemed too good to be true, so I decided to reach out to a few of the authors they had listed there directly to ask them about their experience working with this company - Figuring, at the very least, I'd get some guidance about what to expect.

ALL the authors I reached out to told me they had never worked with this company and never knew they even existed!

This company is a full-on scam and, at the very least, I recommend any one choosing to work with them to do the same as I did - To get names of authors they have worked with and to reach out to them personally. All I can tell you is watch yourself and I hope this review saves other people from what I now consider to be a blatant scam!!!

I had a manuscript with a goal to be on the front page of Forbes and NYT Best Seller Coloumn. Tried doing that myself for like 4 years, but wasn't even near. I stumbled upon these guys like 4 months ago and I wasn't sure if they can deliver what they promised. Looked too good to be true. With all my doubts I trusted Alex Cooper and signed up with them and i can say this with all my heart that It was one of the best decisions i’ve taken in my life so far. Their marketing boosted up my sales like hell’s fire and my dream came true. Now I think I’ll be writing more books and making them with Ghost Book Writing for sure. Great job, awesome people. Attention; IT IS A SCAM!  
  My story is very important to me, I felt it's unique and people should hear it and enjoy it too! So I made the unfortunate call to Ghost Book Writing asking them to help me edit, and publish my book! I told them that the 50 pages I sent them would make a good 100 pages book for the fee of $1000  After they took a look at  the material I sent them, they told me that this is a great story, and I am a great writer. They even told me that my book is so good "its going to fly of the shelves", a producer or a director might pick it up for a movie! They made me feel like if I am  Charles Dickens or william shakespeare! they told me this book should be a 200 pages book (for the fee of $2000), I said no, 100 pages are enough, I don't have enough material to cover 200 pages, they took the money ($1000), I signed the contract, now I am ready for the feed back and ready for them to fulfill their promise of updating me on daily basis. It is not a good sign when the person you are assigned to doesn't return your calls for more than 24 hours after you pay them.They ignored me completely, after that every time I called for an update they kept pressuring me and pushing me to buy the 200 pages for the price of $2000, they didn't even answer my calls for a weeks until I agreed to pay another $1000 for a 200 pages book.

  after they got my money, they promised me that my book will be ready in 2 weeks, it took them more than 3 monthsToo many mistakes, too many misspellings, I was editing their work, I had to return their work more than 30 times for editing and spelling mistakes. (I have all the emails). Then they pressured me again (the same way they did before) to pay another $1000 to produce a short clip to post on You Tube to promote the book! I said no, they didn't return my calls for another months! (same old tactics), but I need my book to be out and I want it to "fly of the shelves" as they promised, so I said yes to the clip.  As of today: June 1st, 2020 it has 1 viewer.  The book didn't fly of the shelves (in about a year I sold 2 copies), nor the promoting clip helped; after my friends read the book I end up pulling the book of Amazon. My friends told me that the book is really bad, I was scammed and I should've never ever trust those people at Ghost Book Writing,  In a nutshell: Ghost Book Writing made me the laughing stock of every one who viewed the book on Amazon due to the poor writing and editing.My advice is: do not trust those Ghost Book Writing company! it is a scam.

Writing your first book is not easy. Getting it published can cause anxiety and stress especially if you don't know the process. Ghost Book writing made the process easy and stress free for me. Everyone was incredibly accommodating especially Lisa. From start to finish she kept me updated and she kept my mind at ease. She's very friendly, personable and has amazing customer service skills.
