I do not suggest getting the FORT
If you are considering buying a FORT, just turn around and run. This company started out looking promising and that's why I backed this idea via Kickstarter. As time went on, and shipping delays became a big issues, so did the communication from this company to the people who supported his idea. The original plan for the FORT changed (magnet adhesion, zippers, covers) making it not the product many signed up for. In addition to that, he didn't fulfill Kickstart orders prior to selling at retail, which comes with free shipping. Instead, he told backers they needed to pay an additional $99.00 to get their FORT "ASAP." I opted for a refund nearly 2 months ago and have yet to see my money returned or a response on getting my FORT if refunds are not possible. This was not a donation and if the company cannot follow through with their offer to provide refunds they can let me know when I should expect to see the product I backed. As FORTs land on doorsteps the safety issues are alarming and what's worse was Conor's response to the issues. Based one the disappointment by many, I am holding out hope for a refund. This was a massive mess and with the complaints flowing from all directions, I'd recommend buying from a more reputable company who prioritizes customer service and safety!
Connor continuously asks for more…
Connor continuously asks for more money, without shipping any part of the order out. It’s been almost a year and the only people who have received their product are Instagram influencers. He refuses to answer emails, Instagram and Facebook messages, and is blocking/archiving his accounts instead of taking accountability and refunding the millions of dollars he has scammed from hardworking families.
After sending out, in his words, over 3500 units, hundreds of units have been defective and unsafe. Magnets have been loose, missing, and unsecured. The magnets that were promised to be larger than a quarter and the same size and can easily be swallowed, especially since they are loose and unsecured. Magnets repel, covers have been ripped and torn upon arrival, proper safety measures have not been followed. He is refusing to respond to emails and messages on multiple platforms. He is withholding refunds and continues to ask for more money while posting online about how he is spending the funds that he is now trying to recoup by demanding more money.
