Great support team
Just had a bit of a problem with an e-gift card purchase, so I phoned their support team and spoke to a lovely lady who sorted the problem out in less than an hour. Great work, thanks!
Great savings so far……
Since joining at the end of January, exactly 3 months on writing this review, we have saved just over £50.00! We use it every week in Aldi and occasionally we’ve used it in Iceland and Tesco.
I really like the fact that you get the savings as soon as you spend unlike others which are paid back into your bank months after spending.
The one and only downside that I can say is I wish it was an app and quicker to use instead of waiting for the e-card/voucher to come through.
Meanwhile, thank you for the savings so far 👍
Good, when it actually works
There are definitely some good savings to be had. However, the website seems to be very flaky and various features do not always work when you want them to. For instance, I wanted to purchase a Tesco gift card today and the website just displayed a 'server error' after logging in. Very frustrating.
The lack of a mobile app is also disappointing.

Excited for future savings
I've just completed a two week free trial and saved £4.94 in total on two Tesco shopping trips. Have now paid £30 for one year membership and look forward to saving at least four times the cost of membership. This week I hit a snag where the website would not work whilst I was in Tesco, nor when I got home. I contacted customer support and got it sorted within a few hours. So my plan for future savings will be to estimate my shopping cost the day before and pre-buy the egift card. I would give it five stars if I felt I could truly trust it to work whilst I'm at the till and if it used an app that saved the voucher in your Apple Wallet instead of having to wait for an email.
In store only for supermarkets
It advertises itself (eg in online videos) as savings on weekly grocery shopping, but all supermarket savings were IN STORE ONLY. Useless for anyone relying on delivery, such as people in rural areas, house bound, disabled or environmentally conscious. Very disappointing.

Not fantastic savings on the weekly…
Not fantastic savings on the weekly shop as I don't normally spend a lot. But every little helps. I am certain that there will be bigger savings on other retailers. Certainly over a year I will have made useful savings. Once the account is set up it is very easy to use.
Savings to be had!
This is a great way to shop on your weekly shop. I save £5 every week at tesco which equates to £17 saved a month minus the £3 monthly fee. I have also saved about £20 on my airbnb stay and I'm sure I will use it again for other things but even if I don't I'm quids in just for using it at tesco! Would recommend everyone get this to save those pounds.
I have used it at the following stores
I have used it at the following stores: Iceland, Argos, Sainsbury's, M&S, Farmfoods, and Waitrose. I joined on January 24th and have saved over £30.00, covering the cost of my one-year membership. Although they offer a wide selection of stores with varying discounts, Lidl is not currently included. Hopefully, that will change in the future. Additionally, there is no app available, so you must log in through the website. Despite these small inconveniences, the service has been beneficial.
Excellent service. Big savings
Excellent service.
Been saving 4% off Asda food and 6% off M&S Clothes and food.
So many other retailers on their system too. 5 Stars
It's very good
It's very good, and works as they say. I wouldn't use it standing at the till, however, as it takes a minute or two for the voucher to come through and you wouldn't want to be standing behind in the queue. Much better to be organised and to buy the voucher before you get to the checkout!
Simple to use and saves money!
Snip is bought to you by the same company as PickMyPostcode, WinADinner, and Freemoji Lottery.
PickMyPostcode is recommended by Money Saving Expert too.
Anyway, after a free trial of 2 weeks, Snip costs £3 per month or £30 for the year.
You get 4-5% off most supermarkets (some in-store only, some online). There are discounts for food and other stores too.
It works by buying a voucher for the shop. Either at the till or in advance. If bought in advance, any unused balance remains.
My last weekly shop of £80 cost me £76.80. Saving £3.20 which is more than the cost of membership already for the month. Any other savings for the rest of the month are a pure saving now.
It's not mega discounts but it adds up in the current climate. I think I've saved about £15 in the last week once membership cost is removed.
Highly recommended!
Fantastic way to save money
Fantastic new way to save money. I signed up for Snip and I have already saved £25 using gift cards at Tesco, Aldi and M&S, and I've only had it for a week! Looking forward to seeing how much I can save elsewhere.
Try Snip
Wasn’t sure how it would work but thought I’d give it a try. Really easy, saved 5% on my Tesco shop. Well worth the £3 a month. I will certainly save much more than the cost. The list of participating retailers is impressive. Think what you would save buying a TV from John Lewis.
