Grateful for finding Get Shapely

I am very satisfied with my care and guidance
that I have received from my Shapely care person. They listen quite well and give you recommendations that are suitable for your goals, your physical levels and your particular life style. This system works and they are most trustworthy when it comes to your health. There are no delays in getting refills submitted to your insurance nor in getting other prescriptions as needed during your treatment.

My experience with Shapely and my PA Mayra Garibay.

I started my Zepbound journey in June of 2025 with Shapely. I have zero regrets and I am so grateful that someone on their team reached out. I had looked into things on their site but ultimately thought it would not be possible to get treatment. Well a helpful person followed up with me after inquiring and explained to me that I could get treatment and that Shapely would handle my insurance situation. I started at 180 lbs. and have ended this year at my GOAL weight that I have not been since 10 years ago. I’m a 45 year old female at 5’4 who has fought obesity on and off. With Zepbound, I lost 45 lbs., no more pre diabetes, no more elevated cholesterol and all my clothes are too big for me now! It was the best decision with a good straight forward company. I paid a membership fee monthly but it’s nothing compared to other deceptive companies who want hundreds and don’t include medication. Sadly my insurance is cutting me off next year so I can’t go into maintenance. If things change in the future for me, I would come back. Highly recommend.

I saw an ad for Shapley on Facebook…

I saw an ad for Shapley on Facebook that said that this was covered by Medicare so I expressed interest in talking to someone about it. When I got my phone call, I was told that Medicare doesn’t cover the medication and that the doctor video visit would be billed to MediCal, for which I have a share of cost and that I would have to pay 20% of the doctor visit.
I feel that the advertisement was false and very misleading. I would advise you to be very cautious about choosing this company.

However, as with all insurance patients may be responsible for copays or coinsurances, and we are sure to check and inform patients of this. In the case you stated with Medicare and Medi-Cal, there is no cost-sharing for covered visits. Additionally, beginning in 2025, Medi-Cal covers FDA-approved weight-loss medications in full. My Best Decision

The Shapely Team has been wonderful to me! I spoke with Emma in June a few times. She always answered my many questions about a GLP1.Her guidance helped me decide to go with Shapely. I started in July and have been monitored by Dr Brittany Williams and Dietician Megan. Both ladies guide me and have my best interest at heart! I’m down 33 lbs with their help. All GLP-1 Services are NOT the same!

I started out with Medvi... and was disappointed as (1) they sent me the wrong prescription and (2) when I finally got the correct prescription, the compounding pharmacy did a very poor job preparing it. The pills literally fell apart in the bottle.

Then I started with Shapely... Totally different experience - the PA doing the interview (Brett Garvey) was very detailed and comprehensive. Plus, he worked with me to get insurance approval, so insurance covers the meds. It just keeps getting better and better. Brett is US-based and very proactive in his followup. He's not working off a script, he's working from a very knowledgeable and professional background.

So shop around and seriously consider Shapely - it's your life, your health, so you want the best care possible.

Finally, a Weight-Loss Team That Listens and Responds

It has been over 3 weeks since I joined Shapely, and my experience has been absolutely wonderful. From my very first contact to meeting with the PA and the dietitian, everything has been nothing short of a five-star experience.

PA Brett Garvey and Dietitian McKenzie Foster have been incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and—most importantly—available. I expected long wait times and difficulty reaching providers, but my experience has been the complete opposite. The team is responsive, attentive, and truly committed to helping me succeed on this journey.

I purchased a product from this company…

I purchased a product from this company recently. They scanned me by double charging me through PayPal. I instantly contacted them and there reply was that they could not refund me . I responded with their money back guarantee. They reply was my money would be refunded 4 to 7 business days. I waited but no refund, I have contacted PayPal and they are investigating this company. Also since the initial complaint I have been receiving all sorts of spam emails, I am sure they on sell your contact details. This company is dodgy do not use their products. Buyer beware

This is my 2nd time being a Shapely…

This is my 2nd time being a Shapely patient. This company is very efficient and does well with education. My provider is Mayra G. She is very informative and knowledgeable. I’ve never had issues with obtaining my medication on a timely manner.

Lag in receiving meds

I had to go a week or more with no medication because it took a week to 10 to receive from pharmacy. Just when I’d get a losing streak going it was shut down because I didn’t receive the medication.

I contacted shapely to inquire about their services the man who answered the phone said $9.00 for the 1st month of services if you join their weight loss program and 49.00 charged each month after for the service + Medication $$ if not covered by insurance. I said I would like to inquire of the program and what it all entails. I was asked for credit card up front and set up a time to meet with an actual representative that lets you know what they offer with this program and to see if I was qualified ..They didn't have an opening that worked for me for almost a month out in order for me to obtain this program information. I finally met with a lady via video chat that explained what the options were and I said I need to know if my insurance covers it before I do anything She agreed to check if It was covered and set a time to call and follow up. Turns out It wasn't covered so I did not sign up.
I was totally shocked when I happened to check my credit card statement not only was I billed the initial $9.00 they mentioned as a charge for your 1st month of their program. I also was charged on my credit card another 49.00 for the Initial video chat where they went over the options that they offered in their program.. "but get this they also actually billed my insurance for an office visit for that Initial video chat and also are trying bill me a 30.00 co-pay. This all Seems a bit fraudulent as I hadn't started anything or even established being any type of patient nor agreed to or selected or requested any meds. I'm currently in the process of trying to recover these fees Ive been charged for,.As well as reaching out to my insurance company to let them know what transpired to see what can be done. Hoping for a favorable resolution and my fees fully returned. Im putting out a big Caution sign on this company. I feel very mislead.
