Kanda Kept my card details without my…

Kanda Kept my card details without my permission, took a payment without my permission and phone number i have for them is dead would advise not to deal with them
I have tried calling no answer i have just emailed again

Service has been great

Service has been great so far. The team at Xterior responds quickly and Cris has been very helpful in arranging our order. He takes personal interest and tries to make adjustments where possible to tailor it to our requirements.

Update - plasterer still haven’t been paid after paying deposit. Takes alot long than they make out !

Hey Matthew! Thanks for the great review. We pay the tradesperson within 24 working hours of receiving your signed satisfaction note. If we haven’t paid the tradesperson it’s usually because we’re double checking their work, profile, bank details and/or we haven’t received the signed sat note. It’s all to protect you the customer from being pressured into paying a tradesperson when the work isn’t complete.

Glad arranging the credit and work was wonderful for you and we’ll continue to make sure customers remain protected and great trades get paid within 24-48 working hours!

Helpful

Bit complicated to apply. You can't change something, when( in our case, builder) filled most out. Then,bit too many emails. Love,that you can choose 0% for 10 months payment and super quick service response. Didn't like,when signed off job(online) to verify all via phone call.

Fairly straight forward interface and…

Fairly straight forward interface and application. There are a few processes that you have to complete which I was unaware of, after I had got the agreement i.e I thought once all agreed, I had finished the set up process, but then was made aware I had not paid the deposit, which I thought was automatic?

very poor customer service

I made an application to kanda to be able to offer finance using their platform I was rejected on the grounds that negative information came up during their search, I was rejected despite the fact that I disclosed all the negative information prior to making the application and even offered to provide a dbs check to confirm that the negative press was not true, prior to the search I was told that if negative press did come back from the search then they would look at the dbs check, they point blank refused to even investigate or look at the dbs check. I was passed pillar to post and nobody would explain why.

For Kanda to provide a response such as they have which implies that I am a rouge trader shows the true attitude of this company. I have requested a subject access request and will update on how they deal with the request. Legally they have to comply with the request with within a month however I am not filled with confidence.

Sorry you weren’t able to use our platform; we have a commitment to protect our users from being offered finance by tradespeople that don’t meet the highest standards.

It’s unfortunate you weren’t allowed to use our platform and that has resulted in a 1-star review. However, making sure rogue traders don’t get onto our site is just one of the many reasons we have such a strict onboarding criteria.

Our aim is to deliver great tradespeople to great customers. We’ll never comprise that.
