Fraudulent UCC. Let's fight together.

Just like many other reviews, had the same story with UCC filling. They used an innocent yes to receive an email and review the terms to file a UCC. Now, cannot factor with nobody else, and Fleetsmart is forcing me to pay $500 to get letter of release after 45 days. What am I supposed to do for 45 days? At this moment, thinking to find a lawyer. Perhaps, several carriers can group together to fight this and split the lawyer cost. Send me a message if willing to fight together.
Additional info to Fleetsmart comment: in order for UCC to be legally enforceable, the creditor has to have security interest, a signed agreement, and specify services provided or goods purchased. Our company is not doing any business with Fleetsmart whatsoever nor signed any agreements, therefore, your UCC filing holds no merit. To ask $500 for termination is extortion.
Update: to force us to pay $500 for UCC that does not hold merit is illegal. Further, to wait 45 days for the letter of release is unheard of. Is FleetSmart going to pay our truck payment, trailer payment, insurance payment, accounting, dispatch for those 45 days while we wait for release letter? If so, sure. I pay you $500, sit for 45 days, and you pay us $10K for damages. No problem.

As of July 11, 2025, we’ve updated our policy: the Letter of Release (LOR) will be issued within 45 days after the termination fee has been paid. This timeline was set to ensure proper review and processing for all UCC terminations in compliance with internal procedures.

As a new account of fleetsmart, I felt honored to have JONA guided me all the way for setting up payments. She’s articulate & knowledgeable of her job & patiently waiting until my concern is fully addressed . I talked a lot of people before she came in but only gave the same route of explanation. DOUBLE CHECK BILLING

I’d recommend double checking the amounts they are charging. Recently, every time I pump fuel with their fuel card I’m being charged more than fuel price shown on Fuel Map. They request screenshot of fuel price to process “refund” despite it being on their own website. Then they don’t really refund your money, they just give you credit for your next “billing cycle”. They brush it off as a system error even though it happens every time I pump fuel with them.

FLEETMARTS(BWC) WORST COMPANY TO EVER WORK WITH.

WORST COMPANY TO EVER WORK WITH.
I NEVER SIGNED FOR FUEL CARD AND FACTORING WITH THEM. THEY HAVE STILL FILED UCC UNDER MY COMPANY SAYING I AGREED VERBALLY. THEY ARE THE SCAMMERS AND WILL NOT RELEASE YOU. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FROM LAST 3 MONTHS TO GET MY UCC TERMINATED, THEY ARE ASKING TO PAY $5000 TO GET IT RELEASED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT GET IN TRAP. DUE TO THESE, I AM NOT ABLE TO SET UP THE FACTORING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

The reviews are fake

The reviews are fake. They do not pay on time! I repeate! They do not pay on time. Go look at TikTok videos! I turned in a load Thursday. It is now Tuesday and still haven’t gotten paid ent been paid. The load was approved and everything for funding Fleetsmarts just pays when they feel like it. They are not financially stable is what it’s showing!

To all trucking and transport…

To all trucking and transport businesses. Do not talk to Prince Ryan at Fleetsmarts or any of their other employees. They are a scam. They will try anything to get you to agree verbally with something on the phone so they can record you saying you agree, then they will put a UCC lien on your company so that no other factoring companies can work with you until they release it. No Fleetsmarts!!!! Please pass the word. They will not release the one on my new company. They are messing with our lively hood and don’t care. It should be illegal for this to happen. And especially when it Is foreign people. They don’t care if they ruin your credit. They just don’t want you to do business with anyone else. I told them no over and over again for over 20 minutes on the phone. The guy named Ryan or Prince he goes by both. Tell all your buddies.

Fleetsmarts does not force any customer to open a fuel credit line or enter into any agreement without their full understanding. Our process is transparent and all agreements are thoroughly explained before any documentation is executed.

A UCC-1 filing is a standard security interest document in the transportation and factoring industry. It protects the lender or factor’s financial interest but does not restrict your ability to work with other factoring companies. As long as the UCC-1 filing is properly managed and all parties understand the terms, you are free to engage with any provider of your choosing.

We do not and would never intentionally block a customer from doing business with others. Our role is to support our clients, not hinder them.

If you believe a filing was made in error or without appropriate authorization, we invite you to provide your company name and any supporting information. We are happy to review your account and resolve any concerns appropriately.

While we respect your right to express concerns, we ask that you avoid making or spreading false, harmful, and defamatory statements, as these can cause reputational damage and may lead to legal consequences.

Poor communication and customer service once you get signed in with them, they then become hard to get in contact with. And lots of hidden fees as well

Fleetsmarts is a scam of a company to…

Fleetsmarts is a scam of a company to work with. I have been with them for 6 months now, and im truly unhappy with their services. This company charges fees without telling you about them. They lack communication skills, and you can never speak to someone in management. I have been asking to get out of my contract from day 1. They refuse! They are now factoring my loads at a higher rate than the 2.5% promised. Their fuel discounts are a joke. I put $140 in gas every stop and only see .39 saved everytime! Nothing significant to see a discount worth anything! But this is how they get you in, with their fuel discounts, that don't exist. They keep removing my reviews from Trust Pilot, because im telling the truth about their practices and Trust Pilot takes them down for them! How truthful is this sight!? This company is not worth getting involved with unless you want someone who's going to hurt your small business bottom line!
