good luck returning the item!!!
We wanted a full refund if send the product back (postage at our expense) but twice they coerced us to accept a partial refund and keep the item. We told them repeatedly it was WAY TOO SMALL and we will never use the cutting board, but they refused to accept the item back and provide a full refund despite stating they would do that in an initial email.

I would prefer to decide my own purchasing quantities/volume/size if given the option to select from a menu of multiples of product. The way the site bounces to ‘additional’ offers of product(s) after you make your (company controlled)’ best offer’ choice from their limited content menu - it leaves one feeling manipulated. Ex: If I want to buy 12 - why can’t I buy 12 without going through an extensive marketing process of other goods?

Also like that I was able to buy non slip grip pads to go underneath the boards to help with sliding on my granite countertops while using the cutting boards. Many state that it won't dull my sharp cutting knives. I hope this is true.

get-katori.com… returns problem
I responded to a get-katori.com advertorial, thinking that it was a scientific article (from buzzpulse24 in the New York Times). I ordered 2 boards before discovering it was an advertorial containing dubious claims - for example, that the boards don't dull your knives, but in fact sharpen them - FALSE. I cancelled within 13 minutes of ordering. The company refused to cancel or refund, saying they had to deliver the boards but that I could then send them back for a "full refund". However, I discovered several reviews that indicated costs and problems with returns to this company. BE CAREFUL ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. It's not that the product is necessarily defective, it's their customer relations that's the problem. After several emails I finally got a promise of a refund, after sending a legalistic email to them, and raising a dispute with my card-issuing bank. Let's see how it goes...UPDATE: as the company has indeed offered a refund, I have accordingly updated my rating from 1 star to 3.
