GKS were recommended to us by our timber frame house supplier and from the first contact we were astounded at the high level of service, care and communication. Sadly, a rarity these days. Josh contacted us the same day I made contact and after we'd sent the plans through the design was super quick. We wanted one or two changes and Josh immediately understood our vision and sent us designs, usually the same day, which was in sharp contrast to some of the other places we had approached. Nothing was too much trouble, colour changes, tweaks here and there to ensure we were 100% happy. We had plenty of guidance, which we needed, born from their many years' experience. Paul, who delivered our kitchen was a joy. The whole experience was just lovely and easy and having never been lucky to have a brand new kitchen before we were impressed at how stress free the whole process was. We would have no hesitation at all recommending German Kitchen Specialst, in fact, we already have done! Excellence in a world of mediocrity.

We decided we wanted a German kitchen so booked an appointment at a local kitchen showroom where we fell in love with a Nobilia White concrete kitchen. Unfortunately, it was out of our price range so carried on shopping around & were lucky enough to discover GKS! Josh Penney went above & beyond to help us with the design & layout, he is very experienced & we felt totally comfortable with the entire process. A couple of Zoom meetings made us confident and excited about our new kitchen. The drawings & images that he sent us were identical to the finished kitchen but the price was more affordable. We came across GSK after researching kitchen design companies on Google and also here on Trustpilot that worked with Nobilia kitchens. My wife and I initially came across the Nobilia kitchens brand at a local company, where we were able to see the fitted kitchens in person. All went well until we priced it all up, which was above what I would call reasonable. Having contacted GSK, we were at first worried about working with a company fully remotely, as they are a few hours north of us. However, Josh and then Paul's unmatched advice, care and design service, in addition to their after-sales support, has been exceptional. Nothing we asked was too much, and Josh was able to take our initial ideas and build them out further into something special. We've now had it fitted by a local company, and I'm pleased to say it looks exactly like the design that Josh created. Truly brilliant customer service, care and experience from the team at GSK.

From the very first meeting to the kitchen being fitted, Josh and Paul have been fantastic partners to us. Initially, we were skeptical given we don’t live near GKS offices and wouldn’t meet face to face but that feeling quickly evaporated after speaking to Josh. The insight and expertise Josh brings is great when it comes to design, he helps you along the way with what you would like providing useful considerations based on the space and what is feasible.

Josh is always available for a quick call, super responsive on email with the million questions/ideas we had always providing us with detailed responses. We really appreciated Josh’s input to identify lower cost options whist maintaining quality and space.

We are very happy with the design and the final kitchen and utility room we have fitted.

We had never been through the process of designing and buying a new kitchen, and the prospect of doing it online/remotely with GKS made it more daunting. But their offering and pricing was so good compared to the many others we’d looked at, we felt we had to choose them.

We first met Josh and Paul in 2020 when planning an extension and needed a new kitchen. We instantly knew that we wanted them for the job. We did obtain prices from other companies just to compare. Other companies are not a patch on these guys. The cost the quality and most of all the care, attention and advice they provide is second to none. Unfortunately lock down happened and it wasn’t till 2024 that we contacted them again. Josh designed a whole new kitchen and colour scheme and nothing was too much trouble, moving things round in the design and picking numerous colour options until we found what we wanted. Our kitchen fitter said he had never worked with such good quality cabinetry and would recommend GKS in future jobs. We cannot recommend these guys highly enough. We recently had the pleasure of working with Josh and Paul from German Kitchen Specialist, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. As first-time kitchen buyers, we were a bit daunted by the number of decisions involved, but Josh and Paul guided us through every step with real expertise and care. Where do I start, looked at numerous German kitchen brands, narrowed it down to Nobilia. Had the designs done according to the floor plan with a local company, unfortunately the total price was higher than we anticipated. Came across GKS through some luck, Paul came down, measured up & Josh provided CADS with suggestions. The price was literally 25% cheaper than we had been quoted locally. Josh has been instrumental throughout the process, even with small snags due to the fitters. I seriously could not recommend & thank these guys enough, they have delivered from start to finish. You will not be disappointed….

We went in search of adding parts to our kitchen. We initially bought it from Kutchunhaus but after appalling service over a period of months, we decided to try and source our kitchen elsewhere. Josh was able to find our exact match and worked with us to design the extras that we needed. He was patient, never made us feel like I was a bother for asking so many questions, and he was always looking for the best solution and price providing us with visual images of what it will look like. Once it was ordered, it was available for pick up or delivery. We decided to pick it up as it just worked out cheaper, but it was great that we had this option. The team in the warehouse helped my husband load it in safely and were really nice people. I highly recommend this company for their service, quality and for their prices.

Initially, I was a bit skeptical about using an online kitchen service, but the exceptional service I received from GKS, Josh, and Paul completely dispelled my reservations. After being let down by a previous supplier, we needed to resolve design issues and place an order within a tight timeframe.

Josh was incredibly accommodating, making himself available to update and thoroughly check measurements and concepts before the final order. His knowledge, assistance, and service made the process enjoyable and gave us confidence in the final delivery.

The quality of the German kitchen is as high as you would expect and is reasonably priced compared to its competitors. Arranging the delivery was easy with Josh and Paul, who scheduled it at our convenience. Overall, we are extremely happy with the quality of the product and the service from start to finish.

Buying my kitchen from GKS couldn’t have been easier. Josh made the whole experience as easy as possible. I couldn’t rate it highly enough. A great service experience from Josh and the German Kitchen Specialist (GKS) team for my new kitchen, utility and office rooms.

The difference in service experience was night and day compared to others that I tried. The design guidance, customisation and patience in selection were exemplary, resulting in room designs that exceeded my expectations. GKS even provided door samples to assist in the final colour choices enabling selection within the actual physical space which was very useful. And communications throughout the ordering and delivery experience were also exemplary.

The overall solution represented great value noting the quality of the final outcome.

Josh and Paul recently worked with us to supply two kitchens for our current project. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the process and we are very pleased with the end result.

We looked at many online and offline kitchen suppliers. A range of kitchens were looked at, including British and German Manufacture. We found German Kitchen Specialist online. Josh is a director and was our constant point of contact. Nothing was too much for him. We had many changes made, including custom made changes to drawers, doors, cabinet heights, widths, etc. Josh would talk through everything on a video call, and then provide updated drawings and plans. We even changed manufacturer once from Nobilia to Schuller. Never once were we made to feel that we were asking for too much or that changes were being made under duress (unlike some UK local suppliers). Once we placed the order (some 2 months after we started with him), he kept us updated every step of the way. The only issues we have had with the kitchen were originally cosmetic and one set of drawer runners to be changed. All done, with the minimum of fuss, and all via email and telephone conversation, where Josh would call me, and not the other way around.

The main reason for choosing Josh was the lack of pushy salesman pitch. He would explain choices, let us know about any negatives as well and then just leave us to decide. No emails or calls to say "have you decided".

From our first conversation about what I needed, through designing the kitchen and checking every detail with me, to placing the order—everything was handled brilliantly. It was after visiting our local Nobilia showroom for a quote for a kitchen that we decided to look online to compare prices with other retailers of the same product. We came across GKS and were initially sceptical about dealing with a company entirely remotely, who were based so far away from where we live. However, after our initial meeting with Josh Penney via Teams it was clear his product knowledge far outweighed any of the companies we had visited locally and when the quote arrived we were very pleasantly surprised by how competitive the pricing was. Unlike other companies we had spoken to previously there was no pressure put upon us to purchase. We knew the design we wanted to go for and with Josh's advice and recommendations we now have the kitchen of our dreams which is not only multifunctional but is of a fantastic quality.
