Gaslighted
I hired Perez Tree Recycling (also known as Georgia Fallen Trees) for what was supposed to be a complete bamboo removal project and paid a substantial amount after being told the work had been finished. Shortly afterward, I found bamboo sprouts emerging throughout my yard and roots still remaining in the ground.
I contacted Carlos Perez to have the work completed. He initially suggested sending a landscaper to help, but I explained that I wasn’t need landscaping advice—I simply wanted the original job completed as promised. After I informed him that I intended to leave a review, he assured me he would return to finish the work. He scheduled two separate dates to come out, but did not show up for either appointment and did not notify me beforehand. After each missed appointment, communication stopped again despite additional texts and calls.
The most disappointing part of this experience has been the lack of accountability and communication after payment was made. I genuinely wanted to leave a positive review if the company stood behind its work, but instead I've been left with an unfinished project, missed appointments, and repeated unanswered messages.
If you're considering hiring this company for bamboo removal, I would strongly recommend getting a detailed written agreement specifying exactly what "complete removal" includes, what warranty or guarantee is provided, and how follow-up issues will be handled if bamboo regrows or roots remain.
