I’m a consultant in the NHS but despite my medical background I received a thorough and reassuring review from Genwell’s expert team. My BMI was only moderately high, but with early signs of raised blood pressure and cholesterol I was very keen to bring down my weight, and more importantly generally get healthy again. The support I received through Genwell’s team was fantastic. I was reassured of the many potential benefits of starting these meds. In 3 months I was able to turn my health around - it’s been totally transformative for me. This would not have been possible through a GP or online pharmacy. I certainly wouldn’t have known if it was appropriate, which medication to choose, and in which areas to focus my diet and exercise. I’ve now been able to stop the medication but I know I have Genwell’s support if I ever need it. Their holistic approach makes them a very unique team, and I strongly recommend their services.

Outstanding service and set up by Genwell. I have been with other providers previously mainly online services with little or no personal interface and very slow to respond to any queries. Genwell is miles apart. Doctor led service in addition to an excellent coach/nutritionist who I meet in addition to my doctor on a regular basis; goals are established, discussed, personalised and made possible to achieve. My care plan is individualised, very different from a run of the mill service. The team are very approachable, nice and knowledgable and clearly know what they are talking about. The emphasis is on supporting the use of GLP-1 with very good nutrition and exercise and achieving sustainable long term habits to not just lose weight but also maintain it in the long term. A brilliant service, dealing with complicated metabolic health issues. They will hopefully go a long way!
