I ordered The Coruscant from…

I ordered The Coruscant from Gentlebands recently and the it arrived within a few working days and fitted perfectly. The item itself looks as pictured on the site and is nicely packaged. I live in the UK and the return address is in London, so it didn't come from abroad. I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews here but I'm really pleased with the item and service.

I really wanted to give this site the…

I really wanted to give this site the benefit of the doubt since the reviews are a mixed bag. HUGE MISTAKE. They send me a ring that doesn’t look like the picture then when I address it with them, they say the picture is incorrect and I got the correct ring. That’s false advertising. They offered me a different ring of my choice at no extra cost. NO. I want the ring I ordered or my money back. UNREAL.

Another scam, thanks Trustpilot…

Another scam company that Trustpilot allows (through persistent negligence) to post MANY fake positive reviews, the vast majority of which are from people who have never reviewed anything else, if that isn't a massive red flag then nothing is. Read other reviews, materials used in the rings are fake versions of what are claimed, rings are drop shipped by Gentlebands from cheap companies on Wish and Temu where they cost literally 10-100x less.

Bulky

Bulky, poor quality and not even remotely close to the product advertised on the website. Clearly buy cheap rings from China and resell them at extortionate prices. DO NOT USE

Not a Scam but false advertising

Not a Scam but false advertising: Not in Seatle and not in Manchester. Made and shipped from China. When i was aware of this i told them i wanted my money back and they paid me back right away. They still shipped the ring. Not the quality shown on their website. Bad quality.

Loved it!

First and foremost the ring I bought my Fiancé was perfect! Great quality and the price was pretty good as well. But after placing my order I had a mishap (totally my fault) and the customer service team was super quick to assist me and help me resolve my mistake. I would highly recommend this company and their products they are awesome!

Gentlebands finally came through!

UPDATE: Gentlebands did issue a refund, as promised. Though it took longer than expected, they honored their word.

Original story: Purchased a ring, which was bulkier than the picture on the site conveyed. I reached out to ask about a possible return for refund, and they offered exchange for any ring on their site at their cost. After looking through their selection, I didn’t see anything I liked, so I requested a return, stating that their site touts free returns. Several emails (and days) later, I get an email stating that my refund is being processed and should show up in my account within 7 business days. Wait, did they really keep my payment information?? Sounded suspicious, so I asked. I also reminded “Sarah” that I still have the ring.

No sooner do I send this email than I get ANOTHER email from “Sunny” starting in with the whole exchange for free line. Basically back to square one! I responded back saying, “that’s interesting, I just received this email from Sarah earlier this morning…” and pasted the refund email.

I have little recourse other than to go to my bank and file a dispute if this magical refund doesn’t appear.

Don’t be fooled - learn from someone who learned the hard way. Don’t buy from Gentlebands.com.

Update: As of this morning, Gentlebands says they have issued a refund, which should post in 3-7 working days. They further state that I can keep the ring as a means to make up for any inconvenience. I appreciate this. I will certainly update to a more positive rating if this refund comes through.

I ordered the incorrect size band

I ordered the incorrect size band. Gentlebands customer care returned my weekend email to them right away even though their hours of operation clearly say Monday thru Friday Sarah answered me on a Saturday and Sunday. After the first email she gauranteed I would receive a new ring on the correct size even though wrong size was my fault. I sent a few more emails with questions for her and she responded quickly. We had several pleasant email exchanges and I am so very impressed with Gentlebands customer care and resizing policy. Will definately support this company for life! Thank you Sarah and Gentlebands!

What a joke

What a joke! I got mailed a tie wrap. I paid $166 for this ring and I got scammed big-time. I will never order anything online again that means something. Dirty trick.

I almost gave them a 5-Star review..

I received my first ring after some time only to find it was slightly too large and the company was quick to respond, offering a free replacement in half a size down. I almost gave them a 5-Star review, until I received my replacement ring: right engraving, completely different ring, in a full size larger. I contacted them, noting the mistake with photo evidence only to be told I was wrong, and they sent the right ring.

Affordable? Yes. Reputable? Not at all.

Well Played, Indeed!😎

I am pleased to be writing this unbiased review for what I regard to be a reputable and legit company.👍👍

I ordered a beautiful rendition of The One ring based off of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The free shipping and delivery was within my expected time frame(approx. 2 weeks). While the gift box jokingly reminded me of a blacked out altoids tin, it was sufficiently padded inside well enough for transport. I also like that there was an included card of authenticity showing a unique serial number, date created, and designers/artists name. There might even be a cleaning cloth somewhere under the box's foam liner, but I haven't bothered digging it out as of yet.

Now, for the ring itself. First off, this thing has some WEIGHT to it! I wasn't expecting a piece of jewelry to feel like a heavy polished rock on my finger, but I do like knowing that I'm wearing it. The 18k gold plated finish over tungsten is flawless. Not one imperfection was noticed upon my inspection. And, while I haven't the slightest clue how to read Elvish Tengwar, the full inscription on both the outer and inner circumference looks to be true to fiction. Based on the story, the words should glow when exposed to fire, but that's one detail I don't plan on testing😁. It was also located perfectly straight along the centerline of the 6mm band. It is a very nice replica!

Next, the best part of all! The night I placed my order, I was a bit absent minded, and failed to enter a 20% discount code that was offered on the site after New Years. I was just so excited about the ring, that I punched all my cc info in, and hit place order. Guess I completely glanced right over the coupon code field. I quickly sent an email to customer service about my mistake, and got a reply within the day from Miss Sarah. This agent is a SUPERSTAR!! She graciously was able to refund the 20% difference and gave me a date range of when I could expect to see the savings returned to my card. It was a few days sooner than I was quoted.

Finally, upon receiving my size 12 ring, I couldn't wait to wear it, so I quickly put it on my forefinger only to realize it was a bit too big. I only made a roughly estimated measurement in the dark when I selected the size. The fitment made me nervous as I would not want to lose "my precious" during my day to day. Again, I emailed Miss Sarah to inquire about a possible exchange for the 10.5 instead as there were very limited quantities of select sizes available. I was delighted when she replied that she would send me another one, in the correct size, free of cost, no exchange necessary! That is some AWESOME customer service in my book! Never had that great type of experience with an online company before. I am extremely satisfied with both my purchase, and fantastic service I received. This ring now fits like a glove, looks sharp, and will be a great conversation starter with my clients. Overall, I am very happy to have found this company and recommend them to anyone interested in some fine affordable digit jewelry! Thank you, much!!!

Advertising is false

Advertising is false, stating the bands are based out of Seattle Washington. My order just tracked as leaving China. Will be demanding an immediate refund for false advertising, false purchase order. Keep in mind, it is impossible to hold a Chinese company to keeping a lifetime warranty on a product. So buy local, buy North American-made.

I got two rings from this company not…

I got two rings from this company not that long ago, one in gold and the other one with some craftsmanship - black with some beautiful stones inside. I have them for about 2 months now wearing them nearly everyday. The gold one shows some signs of wear which is not that great but then again I used it while I'm doing all sorts of activities even in water. But the other one is perfect still. Overall I give it a 4... I think the packaging could be a bit better too.

I writing to express my appreciation…

I writing to express my appreciation for what gentlebands did for me. To start, the ring really does fit and feel great. Love how cool it looks. I'm not a gold and diamonds kind of guy. They really understand that some guys like more rugged styles, yet still look sharp. The glowing part is also pretty cool. Anyway, the ring and the ordering experience is great. But here is the part I really had to mention. My ring can off, while working my job. Went down the drain with no way to recover it. I contacted gentlebands, and to my surprise. They said we will ship you a new ring asap for free. Now, I understand this is their policy. But they were quick and willing to just send me a new ring. No questions asked for free! All I can say is great rings, and great customer service. Will buy from. Them again!

Just buy from Temu

Their business address is a random house. If you reverse image search their rings Temu pops and the rings are $2 to $20. Don't say stuff is handmade by jewelers if you are buying from fast fashion China.
