Pharmacy refused to fill my Px

Ok, so I received a couple of orders of my meds from Genius. Then my doctor increased my dosage, and Genius balked, refusing to fill the Px, although they don't even know what my condition is, never medically evaluated me, and don't appear to qualify as a medical doctor.

As part of the healthcare system, we collaborate with prescribers (doctors, nurse practitioners, etc…) to clarify or verify information on prescriptions that may be fall outside of the “norm”. In some cases, if they are not provided with substantial reasoning and information from the prescriber, they may recommend to the prescriber and patient that a local pharmacy who may be more familiar with the provider’s prescribing habits could be better suited to dispense the medication.

Saved almost $27 per month on my RX, better than my insurance co-pay. Shipping took approximately 5 days, I sent my doctor how to prescribe to Genius in his electronic patient portal, it was easy and quick.

Not a good experience.

I transferred the last refill on a prescription I have been taking for a while. I am very familiar with the drug and how it works and what to expect. I know there are different generic manufacturers and the pills I received are different in appearance that the ones I had been taking.

The pills I received simply do not function like the ones I had been taking. They are in no way as strong and have little to no effect.

Additionally, my bank advises me that the charge they put through was a recurring charge even though there are no refills available. I called to confirm that GeniusRX had submitted a recurring charge and that it was not the banks error.

I emailed GeniusRX with a snapshot of the screen and received no response. I will not order from them again.

Sometimes, people can have different responses to medications they’ve previously taken, whether a brand name product or a generic. Many factors can contribute to a change in response, like how the medication is stored, your underlying health conditions, and even certain foods and drinks. I'm a Fan

I'm a definite fan of GeniusRx. Their price is often lowest by a wide margin. When a problem arises, I find their customer support staff to be friendly and helpful. For example, I just called them to resolve a billing issue, and the CSR made sure that it was taken care of, acting as liaison between me and the billing department. When it appeared that it would take the billing department a few minutes to correct the error (which they did successfully), she offered me the choice between staying on hold or confirming the credit at a later time. She even apologized for the hold music, hahaha!

Bate and switch

Geniusrx changed the quantity and price from original quote without notifying me first. When I made my original order, I was shown a price which I agreed to but, after the order was processed I was shipped 1/3 the quantity and charged more per pill.

Started out great

I selected GeniusRx based on reviews and their terrific price quote for a particularly expensive prescription I was given by my doctor.

The first fill of the prescription came promptly and the effects of the medication were above even what my doctor explained I might experience.

The second fill of my prescription came and things changed. The pills that came were clearly a different supplier (different shape, slight color change, etc.). Also I noticed the bottle had changed from a very high quality tamper proof bottle, to a very cheap old style bottle. I didn't think much about these changes, thinking it was just a change of supplier.

Unfortunately, the results of the second fill were poor. All the great benefits of the meds I got in my first fill were gone.

I send an email to the pharmacy staff and asked if it would be possible to get the supplier that I got with my first prescription fill as it worked great, the second did not.

I got a call from a pharmacist the next day and she was very polite but said they had to use the lowest cost suppliers to keep costs down. I told her I understood the desire to keep costs down, but if the drug didn't work for me, it was not good economy on my part to continue.

I have decided I will return to my local Walgreens and pay the higher price to assure I get the results I got in my first fill with GeniusRx.

The pharmacist was very polite and responsive, unfortunately couldn't help with the lower quality meds.

NOT WORTH IT - avoid the hassle and week+ order delays

Sounds nice on paper, but isn't nice in reality.

I've been hopping around medications trying to find one that works for me, but this seems to result in GeniusRX determining that there are "Clinical Issues" with the orders that I place, which forces my doctor to have to call in to respond. This delays the already long time it takes to be sent in the mail to be a week+ before I get my prescription, and then by the time I meet with my doctor again, the timelines are all messed up because I started taking my medication a week later than I was supposed to.

Would not recommend. It's not worth the hassle and the support cannot/does not/refuses to communicate what the actual issues are or how I can resolve them. It's always that they need my doctor to resolve it.

I've NEVER experienced any "clinical issues" as they say with a traditional pharmacy, so I'm going back to the tried and true.

No communication, useless order updates

So unintelligent and user unfriendly. Do not order from these people unless you don't value your time or money. The pharmacy team does not effectively communicate with the retail website and your order will suffer endless delays. Also the arbitrary order limits means you can order a 2 or 3 month supply but the pharmacy won't fill it for unexplainable reasons with no updates.

Not easy to work with.

I usually don't waste time doing reviews but my experience with this company has been terrible. First of all I created an account and placed an order, I faxed the RX and provided the additional information about the height and weight they asked for....then I got a notice that my order was canceled because they didn't get the prescription. When I inquired about why they canceled they said they needed the script faxed directly from the provider. So then fast forward a day I got an email saying the script was ready and to place my order. I can't see the script that was submitted and I couldn't do anything with my canceled order so I put in a new order. They then proceeded to cancel my order another 3 times for mismatches on what the DVM wrote vs the order I placed. They have no process to just communicate the product I should have ordered based on the prescription nor did they ever email that I need to change my order they just canceled. The basic product was right every time but they canceled for the MG then for the fact I didn't pick the ER extended release tab as it was written on the RX. There is no way to edit a canceled order and they don't just inform you that the prescription they got is a little different and have you edit it they just send you a canceled email and then a second canceled email that tells you why. This is not a company I will do business with going forward. To many competitors that make it easy for the customer.

Outstanding Pharmacist

Trying to do normal business transactions, like getting prescriptions filled, has been a challenge this year. Finding someone who's working remotely to communicate effectively with someone else whose working remote can be problematic.

I was very happy to have encountered Lauren in GeniusRx's pharmacy group. Competent, responsive, knowledgeable and efficient. Thanks Lauren for tackling my problem and making my first order seemless.

Formally mail my prescriptions when it…

Formally mail my prescriptions when it was bought out by the new company none of my information was transferred over. I have a script that is still good for 5 months can not get another sent since it was good for one year. No doctor information no script information. I am going to peruse this through the AMA if not corrected. I will look into liability through lawyer if not resolved. Bad business practice and liable for for me not to be able to get refills.

Slow processing. Cumbersome Workflow.

Prices are low. That’s the positive here. Poor experience overall. Entire work-flow process is so incredibly slow. If something is missing from your order you will get an email saying your order has been closed and to resubmit a new one starting from scratch. Suggestion: ‘Click here to submit the missing details’ is always a better option than sorry, your order is closed, goodbye. Also, it speaks volumes, seeing replies to client feedback on trustpilot are given the ‘copy-paste’ cookie cutter response treatment. No need to reply. I see the customer service email from all the copy/paste’s below. If it was intention to continue using your service I would have contacted them.

Their website stinks-delivery and customer support are not that good

Their website stinks. Their is no provision for requesting refills or for even viewing previous orders. When i called today (January 2021) to refill a script that they filled for $62 in October (2020) I was told it would be $359.24!

Got a coupon from Well℞ for $72 at Walmart.

I initially got hooked up with them through some outfit called Singlecare which is who I thought I was doing business with--it seems they change their business name more often than we change my great-granddaughter's diapers.

I can understand why; "Datsun" became "NIssan"because Datsuns were so bad they would have never sold another car had they not...

Stellar prices, slow processing/delivery

My experience so far has been bittersweet. They do have really great prices on my medicine, but there are some frustrations in the ordering process.

For example, a delay of several days exists between “waiting“ on a prescription which they already have from a previous order & confirming the order.

Also, priority shipping doesn’t equal priority processing; it may take them a week to process your order before shipping it.

I highly recommend this company as long as you don’t need your next fill of medication immediately and they do offer a competitive price.
