Its a small compact system that we use to power the lights under our garden pergola. Reasonable cost and works well. This one is repalcing the previous one which has died after 5 years outside..

Great price and super fast delivery, Only complaint is I didn’t get a notification of delivery and it was left in an open cart lodge. Could have been stolen in another area. 2⭐️ for courier

Multiple errors in a single (failed) order - completely unacceptable
I may just have been very, very unlucky, but nothing went right with my solar panel purchase - the advertised panels (lucky I checked) were not available, an alternative product order resulted in delivery of panels of the wrong specification and the company asked me to arrange for their return - i.e. to pay (the return carriage) for the company's mistakes. I declined. Two return dates were missed, wasting my time, and I had to chase to get the return of my payment a week after the return had been collected and 16 days after it became clear that my order could not be fulfilled.
I wonder whether there is a mismatch of expectations regarding consumer protection legislation. The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 bans a number of unfair commercial practices:
• Banned practice 5 is, to paraphrase, inviting consumers to purchase goods which the trader has reason to believe they will not be able to provide and does not disclose it.
• Banned practice 31 is supplying products to a consumer that have not been requested by the consumer and demanding that the consumer either pays for the products, returns the products or safely stores the products.
I also see that the company’s refund policy expects return of goods within 7 days of order cancellation. This limit was superseded in 2014 by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 which explicitly allows 14 days for the return.
Mistakes happen - it is the way that they are handled that sets a good business apart. The only explanation / apology I received was after the two failed return collections "Clearly this is a situation that has happened through genuine human error and we accept that and we also understand our responsibilities. We have been going for over 70 years and always try to do our best and maintain a high standard of customer service within the scope of what is possible." Hmmm, quite so, it is clearly trying - though 'the scope of what is possible' is a novel disclaimer. One error is unfortunate - but by my count there had been four at that stage. In those circumstances, there's nothing like a fulsome apology….
I was also not amused by the deflections used here. The company's recent years' statutory annual accounts show no more than one employee in the company. Responses like “Let me check with the warehouse” and ”I will need to get the accounts team to follow through” seem inappropriate, to say the least.

Abysmal customer service. Snails pace replacement service. No resolution to a complaint. Avoid at all costs.
Purchased a Hyundai generator. After purchasing, I received a call advising stock levels were incorrect and I would be supplied with a better JCB generator. This was definitely the universe telling me to avoid this company which I should have heeded. Stupidly I accepted the offer only to receive an invoice for a Hyundai generator. This was raised twice before the correct invoice was provided.
Fast forward to the putting oil into the generator and it poured straight back out. We had not even got the generator running before having an issue. This was promptly reported to Gen"Pro" on the 4/11, I chased the director on the 7/11 only to finally receive a response on the 10/11. Despite not even turning the generator on apparently it fell into a warranty process. A replacement was provided on the 24/11. 3 weeks of nothing after a £700+ purchase. Despite requesting to log a complaint, I have been refused and told the matter is resolved. Appalling company. Abysmal customer service. Should have read the MANY reviews stating the same information and avoided them like the plague. If you purchase here say good bye to your money for the product, even more for having to hire a working generator whilst these complete cowboys hide behind a warranty for 3 weeks, send delivery drivers that damage property(taking out an entire residential wall), and display possibly the poorest example of customer service I have ever come across. Does anyone know which ADR/ombudsman this company would fall into? I have done everything via email to ensure record is kept of the complaint, the continual expression of dissatisfaction, lack of resolution which I will be happy to supply as evidence.

Cheapest on the market
Cheapest on the market, fast and reliable delivery service. Genuine product. 5 starts.
Good product
Good product, good price , really quick to arrive - obviously a customer orientated business and a good one at that .
If it is brand new and doesn't work, expect no support...
I purchased a Hyundai generator as backup for power cuts. On the first and only time I needed it, it failed completely. Brand new, filled with the correct oil and Aspen4 fuel, it simply wouldn’t start.
Customer support was slow, unhelpful, and seemed to assume I should dismantle a brand-new machine myself to diagnose a manufacturing fault. I am not a mechanic — I bought this product to work out of the box, not to fix assembly errors. Had I needed to return it, I would have been expected to empty it of oil and fuel, then palletise it and return at my own risk, despite it never functioning in the first place.
After taking matters into my own hands, I found a connection that had never been properly made during assembly. Once I corrected it, the generator started. This should never have been my responsibility.
I was told to take it to a lawnmower repair man, as it's probably me. It wasn't. Apparently they have service agreements in place for big generators they were pleased to tell me, although how that could possibly help me I don't know!
The product may work now, but the experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Hyundai clearly has issues with quality control and customer support as do generator pro, and I would not trust them to provide a reliable product or service without a significant risk of similar problems.

I purchased a generator from Generator…
I purchased a generator from Generator Pro which developed a fault with the fuel gauge shortly after arrival. While initial communication was polite, I was disappointed by the lack of practical support for what appeared to be a minor issue.a
After being passed to the manufacturer, I was told the generator needed to be drained of fluids and boxed—at my own effort and expense—before they’d collect it for repair. For a large and heavy item still under warranty, this process felt overly burdensome and unhelpful. I had to push just to get basic clarification, and it became clear that Generator Pro doesn’t have their own service team, relying instead on Hyundai’s remote repair facility.
I was hoping for a more customer-focused approach, such as local support or at least help with logistics. Instead, the experience left me frustrated and reconsidering whether dealing with the hassle was even worth it for what should have been a simple fix.
If you're thinking of buying from Generator Pro, be aware that after-sales support is minimal, and any warranty claims may involve considerable inconvenience on your part. Their after-sales team will simply pass your issue on to the manufacturer and claim that this is all they are obliged to do under long-distance selling rules. However, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the retailer—not the manufacturer—is responsible for resolving faults, including offering a repair, replacement, or refund. Simply deferring responsibility to the manufacturer is not sufficient under UK consumer law. I would not recommend them if you expect hands-on help after purchase.
And as you can see by their reply they are making out they have a workshop when they clearly do not, and understand or want to understand the need of the customer...and that is, I should not to be out of pocket neither time to get this returned to the manufacturer it should be generator pro dealing with this. What a shame .

My pressure washer is very good & delivery was delivered within a few days
It could have been 5 stars!

I ordered a small wind turbine which was delivered free of charge the next day. Unfortunately the turbine did not suit the solar system which was being installed. The engineers did work with my electrician to try to resolve this but, in the end it was not affordable to do so. I returned the turbine in the timescale of the terms and conditions at my cost which was £22.07p. When the refund was processed it was £21.60p short. I questioned this and was told that the “warehouse had deducted a restocking fee”. There was no mention in the Terms and Conditions that such a fee would be charged if an item was returned. So, now I am over £40 out of pocket! Disappointing as I made a phone call before I placed my order to check that this product was suitable for me.
