One of the worst exchanges I have used. Nothing works. I was unable to sell the stocks I bought, it claimed I did not have anything to sell. Also I was not able to transfer anything out, I got an error all the time. No response from customer support. Avoid at all costs.

like many people complaining this company has almost no support they will open your account with all your information they will give you a credit card with all your information and then weeks later with no explanation you will lose access to both the app and your charge privileges days or weeks will go by with no response I’ve never seen this level of bad customer service except for SunRun regarding their solar products stay away you cannot reach anybody they cannot fix anything

I replaced my phone over a year ago and for some reason the codes for the authenticator app (AUTHY) did not carry over to my new phone. So I've contacted Gemini support over and over and over again about disabling the 2FA in order for me to reset my password and once thats done I would reactivate the authenticator. Til this day Gemini support haven't did anything to help me get into my account and it's been well over a year. this is unsatisfactory, unprofessional, and unreliable on their behave. every other crypto exchange BinanceUS, Nexo, E-toro, BTTC, Coinbase, Probit, and Crypto.com helped me get back into my account in no time at all. (LIKE THE SAME DAY)

Terrible service with zero help from support. Purchased bitcoin with my hard earned money and can’t withdraw it. Now I’m watching my crypto go down in value. Total heartbreak

First dispute was on June 4th and 5th called Gemini right away June 5th both charges $490.80 for Belagio box office for tickets I did not purchase Gemini said they would handle it . A month later claim denied I call back restart claim again denied no explanation . I call a 3rd time and ask for the Fraud department we don't have one WOW we have an investigative department that doesn't have a phone number or even an email WOW after arguing with the cs rep who only reads from a cue card she says you have to submit a rebuttal letter to reopen the claim but won't give out a email to send it to . I ask how could they just close the claim with no proof or reason . Now we are on 08/01/2025 and I sign on only to see the card hacked again on June 30th for $194.40 stubhub and I call to cancel the card as they have no actual protection against fraud or any actual service at all . When you call the calls are forwarded to an answering service where nothing gets resolved emails sent to you are all no-reply addresses

Was using Gemini exchange for several months. Verified my account and was in good standing without any issues. Randomly woke up to see my app saying "Gemini account deactivated please contact support".

I wasn't emailed, contacted or had any reason to have my account locked. I had over 1000USD+ of pending referrals that I'm guessing they did not want to pay out.

Like many others, I completed all the necessary steps to receive the $75 bonus and even received a notification confirming I had qualified for it, but after a month and a half, the bonus still hasn’t arrived. Despite multiple emails to customer service, the issue remains unresolved — clearly on purpose. Imagine if I were to deposit real money on this unreliable exchange that can’t even deliver the welcome bonus. They’re truly incompetent — do they really think a new customer would trust a dishonest exchange that doesn’t even honor its promised bonuses? Id 5476239

My Gemini account was unexpectedly restricted on July 18, 2025 without any explanation. The next day, on July 19, I submitted all the identity verification documents they requested, including a selfie with my ID and a handwritten note with the current date. I replied to the email after submitting the request information via drop box, and now your company is claiming not to have seen my replies,

Since then, I have received no response from Gemini support. My account still remains locked, and I am unable to access or withdraw approximately $1,784 or there about as the value increases or decreases according to market rates, that I legally own.

I have contacted Gemini through their support system, but they have not responded to my follow up messages. This delay is unacceptable, especially given the financial amount involved.

I am not disputing Gemini’s decision to restrict or close my account I only request that they release my funds to my verified U.S. bank account or external Crypto address. I have complied with all verification steps and followed their instructions in good faith.

I respectfully request the CFPB’s, BBB, and the consumer protection or Arizona, assistance in ensuring that Gemini returns my funds and resolves this issue promptly.

Do not refer people to them. I have already done the refer and they scam me of my hard work. The most lousy crypto platform ever. All robot replies from their email. Manual credit refferal bonus for 14 days still not credited! The worse of the all. Help your family out by not referring them to this app thanks!

Customer service is non existent. I attempted through 22 emails (Ticket 5410458) to access my account once a passkey was mandatory. I could not create a passcode on my phone because I did not have a pin number. Gemini customer service kept telling me to create my passcode on the phone, even when it was established that there was no way to do so without a pin. It locked me out of all transactions and trades and I lost my money. Do not use Gemini.

Every time I try to send bitcoin it won’t let me it always says try again. Try again. Try again. Give it up on it.

I signed up when the $75 bonus was available. I also received a confirmation email that I'd completed all the steps correctly.
The email said I'd receive the bonus after 30 days, but that's not true! The 30 days passed and they didn't give me any bonus, and if you read the other reviews, it's happened to a lot of people! STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXCHANGE. If they scam you out of $75, I can't imagine what they'd do if you deposited thousands of dollars!
