Terrible Company….

Terrible Company….We had a Supalite roof fitted by Geltsdale Windows of Brampton over two years ago. The workmanship of the installation is terrible and they left my original roof in an unsafe state and would not come back to rectify the faulty work on the roof they installed, after saying they would numerous times. The Supalite roof they fitted is a disgrace and Geltsdale even admitted to the manufacturer it was a poor installation by them and for some reason they will not honour the 10 year guarantee they provided us with and even lied to the manufacturer that we would not let them rectify the work they admitted was not good enough, which is a total lie by them. This is the worst company we have ever dealt with and we are shocked that they will not honour the guarantee they provided us with, but when you read other reviews of this company it seems when something goes wrong they stop responding to the customer and walk away. Trading Standards should be doing something about this company and I have reported this to Trading Standards.

Poor service

Have been waiting a year to have a triple glazed unit replaced. No real answer to my emails , usually "I pass on your email and ask for an update". They proudly display on the web site that the windows are guaranteed for 15 years well we have only had ours for about 6. I don't normally write negative review
s on public forums but this has really stretched my patience.

Fitted 2 new doors for us in 2023. All seemingly went well, until the Autumn months, with wind and rain, and the rear door was letting in. water, and a mean a lot. In fairness they attended 3 times to try and rectify this, until the leakage wasn't too bad, boss said the rear door needed taking off, and re-fitting again, and they would give me a date, as they needed a dry day for this work. We have had plenty of dry weeks, never mind dates, and still they ignore my calls to fix it.
I have also requested as a FENSA registered company, they issue me with 2 FENSa certificates, and I'm always told by Amanda, she will ask the boss "Tony" and call me back, this never happens.
They obviously won't issue certificate now, because of the issues of leakage.
This will now be reported to Fensa, and the trading standards officers covering Brampton, and my area.
My advise, is to seek another company !! The door that leaks wasn't the design we ordered anyway, but they asked me to accept a £200 and have it installed anyway.
I reckons we got suckered into taking a problematic door.
So much for using local small businesses eh!!!
