This copany does an excellent job with pricing and quality.
This company does an excellent job with printing cards, mugs and calendars. They connect into other platforms like Shopify. I was going to give up on providing greeting cards to my customers at art shows because of expense/profit. With Gelato I can continue providing this product, because the cost is half of a major printing company. I am still having a bit of trouble setting up the card designs in their program. I think this is a "ME" problem. I did have one set of mugs that the coloring was "off" on. They sent me a whole new order with beautiful color, no cost and done quickly.

Ich bin mit Gelato leider sehr unzufrieden.
Ein großes Problem ist die fehlende Transparenz beim Produktionsstatus. Bestellungen stehen teilweise tagelang auf „in Produktion“, ohne dass klar erkennbar ist, was tatsächlich passiert. Noch schlimmer: Bestellungen werden zum Teil viele Tage später und ohne Vorwarnung storniert. Das ist für mich und meine Kunden völlig inakzeptabel.
Die Folgen trage am Ende ich: verärgerte Kunden, Rückfragen, Stornos, negative Rezensionen und zusätzlicher Aufwand. Leider kommt das nicht nur vereinzelt vor, sondern nach meiner Erfahrung zu oft.
Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass vom Support keine wirklich hilfreichen Antworten kommen. Vieles wirkt vorgefertigt, konkrete Lösungen oder echtes Entgegenkommen werden nicht angeboten.
Unter dem Strich ist Gelato für mich kein zuverlässiger Partner – vor allem nicht, wenn man sein Geschäft ernsthaft skalieren möchte.

Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with Gelato.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of transparency regarding production status. Orders can remain in “production” for days without any clear indication of what is actually happening. Even worse, some orders are cancelled many days later without any real warning. That is completely unacceptable for both me and my customers.
In the end, I am the one dealing with the consequences: unhappy customers, cancellations, negative reviews, and a significant amount of additional work. In my experience, this does not happen only occasionally — it happens far too often.
What is also disappointing is the quality of support. Many responses feel pre-written, and there are no real solutions or meaningful goodwill gestures being offered.
Overall, Gelato is not a reliable partner for me, especially if you are seriously trying to scale your business.
