Opening its doors to Glasgow, Scotland in June of 2014 Geek-Aboo took on the task of opening up the Glasgow’s geek market to a whole new audience. With a growth in popularity of the Marvel & DC Comics movie series’ and the ever increasing success of programs like The Big Bang Theory – more people are being attracted to the characters many of us have read about and followed in comic books and graphic novels for years. This naturally increased the demand for merchandise associated with them, keeping an eye on the most popular geeky trends we source a wide variety of gifts, collectables and memorabilia for all levels of Geekery.

Happy with service

Happy with service, one of the mugs i ordered had been opened and the other one had a minor defect, however they were relatively cheap so I won't complain much.

Disappointing visit

I was just in 10 minutes ago, my 2 daughters love anything geek and anime.
My daughter just graduated and we were popping in to get her something alongside the talking chucky doll. My daughter was first approached and asked if she needed anything, she politely said no, she was then watched, we then went to where the chucky dolls were only for the same person to be walking around following us. First time I have been in the store and sorry to say it will be the last, perhaps we weren't the right clientele for your business which is very disappointing. Hope your customer service improves and perhaps lay off following people.

Great shop, great people

Great products and although my order was slightly delayed the customer service was great - chatting to real people rather than corporate processes and the issue was resolved quickly. Deserves support as an independent outfit!

First time buyer, good customer service

I used Geek-aboo for the first time afew weeks ago. I ordered two items and they turned up quickly...
There were a couple of issues with the items that I received and I contacted geek aboo direct.
There customer service was very good.
They were quick to reply, very friendly and did everything they could to help with any issues I had.
The sizings of the items that I received were not quite what they were stated online so the company offered Me a partial refund for the items and let me keep the utems

It was the one first time I had used this site(which is always a risk) but I checked trust pilot and from that trusted the reveiws from others and tbh it paid off.

Thank you Geek-aboo, over all a good experience and this is site is genuine, honest and fair (with good fair price and good quality items.)

Followed and stared at by staff

I had an uncomfortable experience in this store on Tuesday, 12 March 2024. This was because of one member of staff (female), who kept pacing near me/my group and staring at me. The staff member stopped staring whenever I looked at them, only to resume after I looked away.

The behaviour of this staff member meant that I could not relax. I was unable to calmly check this store's merchandise.

I don't know why I was being stared at/followed with such suspicion, but this experience was uncomfortable enough for me to avoid coming to this place again, should I ever return to Glasgow.

the woman who seems to be security in…

the woman who seems to be security in here follows me and my friends every single time we go in, which we go in a lot so why on earth would i steal, we are always super friendly and the staff apart from her r super nice. it makes me feel so uncomfortable and i understand maybe her job is to make sure people don’t steal but it makes me feel super disrespected and weirded out as when i turn around or move she follows my walking path immediately.

Had a Bert toy as a kid

Had a Bert toy as a kid,but sadly lost him in a house move years ago,finally decided to get him back and this purchase has made a 54 year old man smile once more,literally turned the clock back 40+ years

Nice figures, needs to work on packing.

Would of given a higher star, but I knocked one off as there was no packaging in between the figures I purchased. The box itself turned up fine and the figures themselves are brilliant, but I'm not an in box collector. I just hope in future that you will put some packaging between figures even scrunched up paper would serve as a good buffer.

Very happy with purchase
