Attention is a scammer!!

I am reporting a serious and dangerous transport scam involving an agency operating on the Abu Dhabi–Muscat route, apparently targeting international travelers, including U.S. citizens.

Passengers paid AED 6,000 for a private transfer. The vehicle provided was not the one advertised, but an old car, and the driver had no money even for fuel, forcing passengers to pay for gasoline during the trip.

After crossing the border and about 100 km inside Oman, the agency instructed the driver to stop and abandon the passengers unless additional money was paid.

The passengers included a woman and a 6-year-old child. Leaving them on a remote road during a sensitive security period would have been extremely dangerous. Thankfully, the driver refused to follow the order.

This conduct clearly indicates fraud, extortion, and reckless endangerment. I strongly request immediate investigation and action against the person operating this agency to prevent other travelers from being exposed to the same risk.
