the beste business-travel suitcase I ever had!

I bought the cabin mate originally and used it all the time for a year, previously I used various types of cabin bags but always had issues storing my devices safely. The zip off laptop cases are perfect. Since then I have bought many more of them complete with the anti RFID wallets for everyone in our company as we are on the move all the time now. We also had everything branded which is great. Well done to Alistair and Swati what a great small business. We will be buying more bags soon.

Excellent product design with some smart ideas maximising storage capacity.

Ordering was very easy and having it personalised with a logo was very straight forward. Delivery was very quick. The finished product is excellent quality and the logo looks great. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great Quality Hand Luggage, it may be expensive but it certainly is well worth the investment. I was worried about going on a Ryanair flight but with this bag my worries dissipated when at both ends of my journey I wasn't stopped or my bag queried. I am actually looking into buying other Gate8 Luggage from the range. I would highly recommend this product to all.

High quality products and excellent service.

I have a spin mate and the omly remark I have is that if the laptop is in the bag and attached to the spin mate, he sometimes falls over due the extra weight attached.

Purchase and delivery experience was excellent. Cannot use bowed suit hangers as the integral locking catch kept opening when zipping up the bag - so use flat hangers. The combination of laptop and washkit in the same bag made the laptop bag bulk a little but made the journey thru security at LHR very easy. Suite and shirts travelled really well - no creases - no unpacking - just hung the bag-up. Does what it says on the tin as they say, just need to get used to packing in the right way. Great to be able to travel with just one piece of hand luggage - will try my Gate8 on Eurostar next. Love and thanks to my wife who bought me my Gate8 as a birthday pressie xxx - Always better at folding shirts than me! So, perhaps there was an ulterior motive! Ps. I'm better at ironing them and don't even need to do that when I arrive at my destination anymore! Win-win!

Sorry - very disappointed.
First, it's VERY heavy, especially compared to most modern baggage.
Second, and worse, it simply doesn't provide the capacity claimed. My first and only attempt to use it was to pack a simple weekend bag for a wedding. 2 nights away in August. Light summer suit. 2 shirts. I pair black brogues. A few casual garments - shorts, polo. Er that's about it. No computer.
Wouldn't pack. Eventually, with my cab to London City Airport sitting outside and the meter running I had to give up and dig out my old trusty Samsonite cabin bag. Which did the job with plenty of space to spare.
Sorry Gate 8. Nice idea. Good marketing approach. Just not enough real capacity. You don't do what it says on the tin, sad to say.
