Boiler replacement

They replaced my boiler. No fuss and great value. The fitters Rich and Tom were superb. They explained what they were doing and were clean very tidy and personable.

Luke and learn - the Art of Boiler Resurrection

Luke from Gas Safe Bristol visited our home in the morning on 13 Aug. If there was an Olympic medal for boiler fixing, Luke would have just won gold this morning 🏅
Not only did he turn up on time with the cleanest ladder I’ve ever seen, he actually asked permission before stepping into any room (honestly, even my relatives don’t do that!). He wrestled with a stubborn boiler for hours, cracked the mystery, and brought it back to life like a true heating hero.
The best bit? Before he left, he gave me a mini “Boiler 101” so I’d know what to do if it tried acting up again — which makes me feel just a little bit like an apprentice engineer now 😄
Friendly, professional, and clearly knows his stuff — Luke, you’re an absolute legend and Gas Safe Bristol are lucky to have you! 👏

Pete attended my boiler today and…

Pete attended my boiler today and managed to sort my issue, which was very much appreciated.
He was very polite, helpful and left no mess.
This was a return visit, ensuring that the best repair option was utilised, rather than just fitting a new expensive part.
Very much appreciated and have recommended!

Total Heating System refit

The work carried out involved removing old gravity system radiators pipe works tanks and boiler and fitting new combi boiler system the work was done to high standard in clean tidy and efficient manner

As a landlord

As a landlord. My tenants called me in the morning saying the boiler as broken down. I called gas safe. And the boiler was repaired in the afternoon. I was very happy with the service from gas safe.

Gas Safe - excellent company

Gas Safe service and carry out the safety inspection on our gas installations..they also recently came out to repair a fault.

I thoroughly recommend them. They are always responsive, easy to communicate with, they are very fairly priced and can't fault the workmanship.

Bad experience

I recently rented a property and encountered an issue with the lack of a dishwasher pipeline. I asked the letting agent to arrange for the installation, and they contacted Gas Safe, who provided an on-site quote. We agreed on a date for the job, but unfortunately, I had to cancel due to personal circumstances. I notified Gas Safe before the scheduled date, yet they still charged me £60 for the quote, which all companies offer it for free! . I find this charge unfair, as the job was never carried out. Overall, I’m disappointed with their service and wouldn’t recommend them.

Hi, we are not a charity. It costs us money to send a fully qualified, insured engineer to your property. This charge was fully disclosed before we visited your property and was heavily discounted.

Avoid at all cost or you'll regret it

I own a couple of rental properties in Bristol.
I'm sick and tired of having to employ other contractors to put right the damage the ham fisted people this company send into my properties.
The best one ( of a few I could mention) is going into a property to fix a leak on a bath waste. One smashed bath (and a follow up quote of £3000 to rectify the damage they did), I had all sorts of promises (from one of the directors) to rectify the problems, they have done nothing but break promises and do nothing more.
Net result after 4 months is I have to send in another contractor to do the work at my cost.
Off to the small claims court next!
By the way, they charged me for renewing the bath waste but didn't even renew that.

Note to self

Do not use this bunch of incompetents. Left my front door wide open even though I was out moving my car, then had to chase for the receipt.
Update. I had to chase for the receipt. A competent firm would send one automatically. As for the front door I was NOT there. I told the workers I was going to go and move my car. They drove off as I came back down the street. Got home and yes the door was wide open.
So what I've left bad reviews? Better others are warned about useless firms/products.....
Oh dear Gas Safe in a snit. Seem to be living rent free in their head. Your guys left my front door open. Own it.

Incompetent is an understatement

Incompetent is an understatement. Been left with no hot water or heating for 8 weeks. Had over 8 visits. (8 days off work). Promised it would be fixed in excess of 5 times. During one of these visits the engineer actually started watching a YouTube video on how to install the part… Been fed multiple lies. Todays lie was the part isn’t going to be available until the end of the day. Then an hour later, the part is available and someone will be with you between 12-5pm. At 12.30pm I was told the suppliers shut at midday. So there’s nothing we can do today. After yet again being promised it would be fixed the first working day after Christmas. I was also promised it would be fixed before Christmas holidays. So my question is, how was the part going to be available at the end of the day in the first place? Considering they shut at midday. Call any other gas engineer in Bristol and they will tell you what a shambles this company is.

I know most of them are we have an impeccable reputation, that's why we are one of the biggest plumbing and heating companies in the Southwest. If we let you down, we're sorry.
