Bracelet doesn’t match photos online!

Purchased a personalised bracelet which when arrived didn’t match the photos at all! Letters on website had contrast, the ones I received did not so not at all readable (what is the point?). I was told the contrast was added online, not to misrepresent, but just so you can read the letters. Yeah that’s my point! Why would I want a bracelet with a personalised message that can’t be made out? Customer service refusing to help at all. Avoid this company.

*Update - despite their response to this review (which, by the way, contains an incorrect/non- functional customer service email) - they have absolutely not replied to my concerns or made any effort to make this right. So it seems this reply is all for “show”.

I adore!

I love the shopping experience in Gas…

I love the shopping experience in Gas Bijoux boutique next to Vendome in Paris. Their sales person Svetlana is simply wonderful, has a great taste and gives spot on recommendations. I’ve been shopping there on multiple occasions since moving to Paris in Sep 2023.

This review concerns solely on my…

This review concerns solely on my online experience, not the products nor client service.
For the price they charge, which seems excessive, you would think they would be bothered to include more photos and description instead of simply using 1 photo and stating " Item of different colour but of same size'
Such a lazy way out.
No mention of base material, is it stainless steel, is it brass...but simply gold / silver coloured, plated metal.
I find that hard to accept for something that costs as much as 500 euros. Also sounds dubious.
So I quit the website without purchasing.

Lousy return policy & dubious brand overhype

Bought from their Paris showroom online. First parcel of 3 items with two items requiring to be returned since their necklaces are so super short to almost be chokers. Cost of return to buyer which is way out of sync with most e-commerce businesses. Given my wife really likes the brand ordered a second necklace again from Paris store online and this time poor finishing and the clasp keeps opening with risk it will fall off. So now a second return. Not sure what all the hype is about this brand since my experience so far is nothing special and return policy lousy.

I bought $300 earrings from Saks Fifth…

I bought Gas Bijoux $300 earrings from Saks Fifth Avenue.. As soon as I put the earrings on my ears started burning. I am shocked these large retailers would carry products like this without due diligence. The earrings I purchased were without questions $.40 to make (whole sale) with a significant mark up of $300. Do Not Buy anything from this company. Horribly made and cheap products. This company is a scam.

Poor quality, poor customer service

Well this has been an allround bad experience. I bought a pair of Orphee hoop earrings, they looked beautiful in the picture and where pricy, so you expect quality for Eur 120. When the earrings came in, they where nicely wrapped but as soon as I opened the package one of the studs of the hoops earring was very clearly bend and worn. They looked cheap and very fragile as if the gold would bend at any touch. I took a picture and contacted customer service to let them know a defective pair was send to me. The lady took a look at my picture and responded right away: As all our products are hand-made, two earrings can be a little bit different. It is the charm of our jewels. Therefore, you can still ask for a return if you would like but there will not be prepaid return label. A really weird response for the other earring was perfectly straight, this had clearly nothing to do with being handmade and is certainly not charming. To me the fact that the second comment was about the shipping cost right away, without even offering a solution or trying to keep me happy told me that this was obviously the issue. What a 'penny wise pound foolish' way to look at a complaint. Trying to return the earrings a lot of the information on the website was in French and very complex to follow, I paid for the return shipping cost myself and for Eur 4,95, they lost a customer who is able to spend Eur 120 Euro's on earrings. Will never buy anything again here!

Thought that I would like to share some…

Thought that I would like to share some thoughts about my experiences after purchasing from this brand:

Some time ago I bought two pairs of earrings from this brand.
The designs of the earrings are amazingly cute and I love everything about them!

Except this one fact; that they will break and you will loose them due to poor functionality or "manufactural disfunction" of the locks and then causing you to feel extremely frustrated about the entire discrepancy between what you think you get, and what you actually will get from this brand: a product, causing you to feel like a fool for spending that much money on something that you cannot ever wear, due to fear of loosing it or from it simply falling apart.

Unfortunately, do not expect any help or understanding from the customer service, when asking for compensation for the newly bought and expensive earring you lost due to the manufaction.
You can instead, as advised from the customer service, buy an entire new but not identical pair of earrings for the exact same price as the first pair you bought - what a luck! and (somehow) in this way you will get somekind of a compensation for their poor craftsmanship...

To sum it up: The quality does NOT match the price — and their customer service sucks.

I have not bought anything from this brand since.

Poor quality

Bought two bracelets. Really happy with one bracelet. The other one discoloured very quickly, without ever coming into contact with water. Also after a year the bracelet suddenly - while wearing it - broke in half. This bracelet is supposed to be able to bend well… At the store where I bought it they told me the bracelet only had 6 months warranty…

Be aware...

I paid 419 euro for two bracelets, and after a month , I have not received any order confirmation or tracking number.
I have sent several e mails and also called the customer service , but nobody answered.
