Disappointed with Inaccurate Step Tracking and Poor Service
I recently purchased a Gard Pro Smart watch for just under €70, and my experience has been less than satisfactory. The main reason I invested in this smartwatch was for accurate step tracking during my workouts and runs. Unfortunately, the device failed to deliver on its primary function.
After completing a 6.5km run, the watch logged only 2.5k steps—a glaring inaccuracy that undermines its credibility as a fitness tracker. I attempted troubleshooting and ensured the watch was properly worn, but the issue persisted.
To make matters worse, the customer service experience was equally frustrating. Despite providing evidence of the inaccurate tracking, the company refused to offer a refund or replacement. This lack of accountability is unacceptable for any product, let alone one marketed for precision and reliability.
Additionally, the smartwatch arrived poorly packaged, raising questions about quality control. Upon closer inspection, it was evident the product was manufactured in China, which, while not inherently a problem, suggests it may have been rushed through production without adequate quality assurance.
In summary, I cannot recommend this smartwatch. The inaccurate tracking, poor packaging, and unhelpful customer service make it a disappointing purchase. If you're looking for a reliable fitness tracker, I recommend exploring other reputable brands.
