I found the perfect wedding present bench on the excellent website. Then I phoned to discuss it. Callan responded and instantly understood that I wanted engraved names, dates and a Maclachlan crest. He organised the artwork which was perfect. I then decided to order a birthday gift chair with lettering and family crest. All of it was done, packed and delivered to a country address exactly on time and the delivery guy couldn't have been more helpful - in the rain! It was all unpacked at 40th birthday party last Sunday surrounded by friends and family and everyone is thrilled to bits. Fabulous quality, fabulous company and superb customer service. The customer service and help that I have recieved from this company from start to finish has been amazing.

I first got booked in to view a copy of my bench that was interested in, assembled and got to test for comfort. I loved the bench even more in real context so rang up to ask if able to get the bench assembled and then delivered. Yes they could do that as well... Dan the delivery driver was fab he managed to carry bench to my garden and carefully placed where it was to live! All fab fab fab! Love my new bench and can't recommend Sloane and Sons anymore they just Fab!

I ordered a teak bench for my husband’s Christmas present. I was informed at point of purchase it would be delivered when the shipping order arrived. The company or to be exact, Callan, kept me in the loop and as soon as it arrived in their warehouse asked me what day I’d like delivery. I suggested several but the first was in 48 hours. Do 48 hours later, I was the first drop off and Dan in his van had driven all the way from Derby to deliver at 9.30am. Absolutely delightful delivery chap who gave lots of great advice regarding treatment etc. charming staff, great service, terrific delivery by the company and not dhl or another third party. Very chuffed with the bench - just need the rain to stop to enjoy it.

From the initial phone call to Ed through to timely delivery of the high quality teak garden furniture everything was 5 stars plus!!!!

The benches were delivered and put in place and look really good. Definitely good quality, such good value for money. They look like they will really last.
When I order next time, I might ask if they can supply without their metal name badge, but this can be easily removed if wanted.

Just fantastic. I purchased 2 large benches in mid-December and they were in place within the week. There was great communication between myself and the company via email and phone. On delivery the company could not have been more helpful. This was crucial as the benches were being delivered to a public space and I am out of the country. Callan was a complete Star and we were able to liaise with him. The effort made around scheduling, was hugely appreciated. Dan the driver kept us informed and arrived on time. The situation meant that tight communication was essential and it all worked smoothly due to the professionalism and customer care demonstrated by Callan and Dan. The benches arrived and were put in position as planned and the team, who were waiting for delivery were able to fix them on arrival. Worked like a dream. I can't recommend this company highly enough. The benches look great, are sturdy and if I get the chance I will be purchasing another two! Thanks all!

I bought a bench, with additional engraving, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the result. The bench was sturdy and the lettering was done very nicely. Super job!

Great communication, with an offer of delivering the furniture a day earlier to fit in with our prior arrangements. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and table essy to assemble. Furnature looked well made and solid. I can't comment any further on the furniture as it went straight under covers to protect it during the coming winter. Would definitely use this company again.

I contacted Sloane and Sons as I was looking for a memorial bench. I spoke to Edward in the first instance and then Callan they could not have been more polite, kind and helpful. The bench was delivered by Dan yesterday and he was also very kind. He manhandled the bench into place for me and it looks lovely. I am so pleased. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use them again

Sometimes its when things go wrong true colour's come out .Bought two benches one one was damaged .The other was perfect and recommended. 3 pictures and an email and replacement sent .Could not ask for better customer service. 10/10

My experience with this company was efficient, with good communication, great product quality, and speedy delivery. I ordered the Burford 3 seater sofa and a teak patio coffee table with a large protective cover from Gardenbenches.com. The order went through quickly, and the items arrived at my home just two days later. The delivery driver was very helpful in getting the items into my garden.

The furniture quality is really good and as described. It was not flat-packed, which was a relief, and could be immediately put into place in my garden. There is a 12 month warranty on all items.

There was a small mix-up over the delivery date, but Edward Sloane and Callan handled this professionally; with great communication sorting things out.

I got a sale price plus the Black Friday discount on all items, which made the sofa an extremely good deal. The Burford 3 seater sofa, with the sale price and extra Black Friday discount, was £561.75. However, note that the protective item, the "Cover For Burford 3 Seater Sofa" (Large Bosmere Ultimate Protector), is also listed as available on Amazon for what is essentially its normal price (£44.35).

I would recommend this company for really good quality teak garden furniture at a genuine sale price, speed of delivery, and good communication both on email and phone.

Sloane & Sons are an excellent company to deal with. Their products are top quality, prices very competitive and their customer service is excellent.
Having had one Lutyens 3 seater chair delivered, I was so impressed with it that I bought another and was, again, delighted with the experience.
Edward and Callan are very helpful and customer friendly. Deliveries are rapid and on time. They just keep their promises!
I wish more companies were like this.

Sadly although the quality of the bench I ordered is very good and would have merited 5 stars, there are some extremely dubious business practices being employed by the delivery firm, DHL in this case. The order confirmation from Sloane and sons states very clearly that the delivery “must be checked’ on delivery otherwise you cannot make a claim for any damage.
Today my bench was delivered (Order #GBM041272). The delivery man didn’t ring the bell (I was in), left the bench in the porch and a subsequent email from DHL has my name as having accepted it. Complete fiction. Luckily there was no damage in this case, but shocking business practice as I would have been liable for any damage!

I ordered a bench from this company some weeks ago and despite a claim that they provide next day delivery it never arrived. They blamed DHL for the problem but in the end after numerous promises of delivery which never happened I asked for a refund. After another week of waiting I still haven't received a refund. I would not recommend this company until they change their delivery company

I recently purchased a Henley Teak Commercial Bench 3 Seater 1.5m from Sloane & Sons to replace an existing teak bench. The standard of both materials and construction used in the Henley bench is much superior and if I say we are pleased with our purchase then that is an understatement. I have no hesitation in recommending Sloan & Sons, the whole process from order to final delivery was handled extremely professionally and I was kept informed throughout the whole process.
