This company is a scam. They automatically enable a “smart subscription” without clear consent and make it difficult to notice or cancel. Very deceptive practice. Stay away.

UPDATE – After response from GAMIVO
Following their reply, I want to clarify the real issue here.
This is not about a refund. This is about misleading and potentially illegal subscription practices.
When you buy a simple product (like a game key) from GAMIVO, they add a “SMART” subscription during checkout in a way that is not clearly and transparently presented. This results in users being automatically enrolled in a recurring paid subscription without genuinely informed consent.
To cancel it, you then have to navigate through account settings where the option is placed in a low-visibility area, often below other highlighted elements. This is a classic example of what regulators call a “dark pattern.”
Under EU law, including the Directive (EU) 2019/2161 and the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, this kind of design is not allowed. Subscription services must be presented clearly, with explicit and informed user consent. Anything that nudges or tricks users into subscribing can be considered misleading and unlawful.
There have already been enforcement actions in this area. Amazon, for example, faced regulatory action over similar subscription flows (Amazon Prime), as part of broader EU scrutiny into manipulative UX practices.
The key point:
A user goes to buy a game → ends up with an auto-renewing subscription they did not clearly intend to activate.
That is not a transparent commercial practice.
Issuing a refund “as an exception” does not fix the underlying problem. It only confirms that the charge should not have happened in the first place.
This kind of setup is misleading by design, and in my opinion, it fits what most users would reasonably call a scam.
I strongly advise others to be extremely careful when purchasing from this platform and to double-check that no subscription has been silently activated.

Gamivo smart baited me for giving 20 % discount, but it turns out it is just for 3 different games. not the one i wanted. But after i bought f1 i got pennyplay bids and then i got for 88 cents Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Which is Extremely good even though i didnt play it before

One of the best platforms for buying.
I haven't had any problems and their subscription plan seems very attractive. I'm thinking about subscribing.
I will definitely buy again!

I had a problem with a region locked key that was labeled as Global by the seller. I was refunded with no issues.

Most predatory subscription system, they hide the subscription button always ticked on by default on every purchase, you only notice it when you are charged the next month

I’ve ordered multiple games and other items from Gamivo and never had any significant issues. Even when small problems occurred, like non-working keys or a wrong order I placed, the customer service resolved everything quickly.

I was sceptical at first but they didn't end up giving me any issues. Might take a while if it's the altergift method so be aware of this if you're planning on someone getting it sooner rather than later
