I purchased a product online
I purchased a product online, with £5 delivery. The item (A Pokemon box) arrived completely damaged, with dents and tears all over. The live chat worker was completely useless, trying to argue that the box just covers the cards inside, however the elite trainer box is part of the product. Completely outrageous and utterly ridiculous.

Ordered through Game website a Lego set which upon reviewing was being sold by a 3rd party through their site. After they took my money and an email received to say the item would be delivered in 5 days there was no more communication. The latest delivery date came and gone but still no new information. Trying to contact someone to speak to other than a chat bot is impossible and they give you the run around. I then sent an email and after 2 days got a reply stating there was a delay on the order but would be dispatched shortly. I waited another 4 days before emailing back and was given the same response. I have now asked for the order to be cancelled as a dispatch date couldn’t be given but then recieved an email stating the payment method was not able to complete successfully and to reorder but they took payment straight away. Luckily I paid through PayPal so looks like I will have to get my cash back that way.
This is not the first issue I’ve had with Game Online, they updated their servers last year which deleted all open orders on a persons account and an email was sent to say the order was cancelled. Since I was told the orders were cancelled, I proceeded to order from another store but they then they took the money out of my account and although sent me the original order, at this point I didn’t want it, and again trying to speak to someone to refund/return or find out why this happened was impossible. I have lost the ability to see what is still preordered on my account and the ability to cancel them.

Really bad service. I pre-ordered a pip boy back in April. In December I contacted customer service on twitter/x to see if it was still an active order as the website had no order information. They told me yes it was all fine. I contacted again last week to ask when my order will be shipped and they told me there was a problem with processing the order and I'll have to place it again. Fed up and won't be ordering from them again.

If I could give zero stars I would. I returned a faulty headset using their DPD returns option. The item was tracked and received by them on 29th January. I emailed a few days later to find out when they were sending the replacement and got a standard reply stating 10-14 working days (why so long?). Emailed them 14 days later and they asked for proof of collection, I gave them the DPD tracking number which they said they couldn't recognise. I then gave them the DPD proof of delivery and have chased them up for 2 more days by email, no reply. Hideous, crap service. Will never use them again
Flase advertising spiderman figures, received different item not even in listing.
As a first time ordering from GAME.co.uk, it will certainly be my last. I purchase what was described as Spiderman Figures, (S) showing an image of four figures. When my order it arrived it was one figure and when I complained they said look at small print at bottom saying individual. No where was this clear in the heading, and it was sneakily added to the very bottom, so people like me with eye conditions dont even see that. But it gets worse. The figure i got wasnt even in the listing, so they pick them at random and no where does this say that in the listing, so trading standards have now been informed.

Didn't arrive on release, a few days later I contacted support to chase and get a tracking number, rather than investigating they just cancelled my order and told me to re-order it.
After countless hours with GAME and Evri customer service it turns out it had been sent out and was due for delivery but stop and hold had been put out on the parcel "due to it being outside of SLA" and therefore it wasn't delivered and it was returned to game.
I lost the pre-order bonus and had to order the game from elsewhere. They were unable to help me as the pre-order bonus is apparently only for people who successfully pre-order and receive their parcel. As I didn't receive the parcel I wasn't entitled to it.
I did receive a refund but lost out on the pre-order bonus, hours of my time on with customer services and had to eventually purchase the game from elsewhere.
A truly awful experience.

If you want to pay £200 to get an anxiety attack, then you should definitely shop there. Appalling customer service. It's not easy to get connected to an agent in the online support chat, and they just keep closing the chat rather than hearing what the issue is and addressing it. Their replies are all copy-paste. My pre-order is going to be dispatched AFTER the release date for the game, and they won't let me come and collect it in person. Are they for real?! Needless to say I will NOT be buying anything from them again, and I will advise all my followers to do the same.

Order 22-12-24 suppose to be delivered 30-12-24. Now the 4-1-05 and still not here . Speaking to game they keep saying we’re waiting to hear of our brand partner who supply the item which as yet they’ve not even replied - so basically you buy off game for some linked company to supply the order yet game cannot tell you or no were or what is going on with item.
I’ve just said just give me a refund I’ll go somewhere else which they can’t because of a the brand partner that I don’t even no I brought off online the. Company was game..,

Pre-Ordered Silent Hill 2 game Scam
Pre-Ordered the Silent Hill 2 game with the steelbook, paying extra for it. The game came later than the release date. But the book was apparently been sent separately, yet was never sent. No updates or tracking information about it being sent. And then I suddenly got an email saying it has been cancelled as the book (which was part of the pre-order) was out of stock.
No communication from Game and no refund for at least the price difference or order the version with the book. Still trying to chase down Game for a response.
The only reason I ordered through Game was because of the book. So going forward will not be ordering from them again as can get the game from elsewhere, and if they're not going to deliver the special book only they sell, then there's no point ordering with them.

Don't waste your time or money with GAME
Had two pre-orders placed with game and neither turned up on release date. One was the doom anthology which arrived a day late and the other being 2 copies of call of duty black ops 6 being delivered nearly a week after release!!!. Whats worse is the steelbooks were delievered separately from the actual game which turned up eventually 2 days after the steelbooks!! I was promised a £5 voucher as compensation via their online chat for my £130 order being delayed but that is yet to miraculously appear. I never use to have issues with pre orders at game but since the changes and merge with fraser its safe to say i will never order from GAME again! Awful service!!!
Don’t give this company your money!
Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. Please don’t ever waste your time or money with this company! I pre-ordered Silent Hill 2 through them as they were offering the collectors steelbook (for a bit more money) with it, which is the only reason I chose them over my usual, more reliable online retailers. I pre-ordered on the 26th of September, ready for release on the 8th of October. Not only did I receive the game 2 days after release date, but it came without the steel book. Nobody contacted me to let me know it would be missing from my order, and upon heading to their website to contact them, there was a separate FAQ stating that there was a delay on steel books and they’d be sent out separately (again, I had to go looking for this info as nobody bothered to tell me). 3 weeks later still no steel book, still no contact from Game. I managed to get through to someone in customer services this morning who then informed me that the steel books were permanently out of stock and I wouldn’t be receiving them, but offered me a £5 voucher as compensation. This is insulting, I’d never spend another penny with this company again, and £5 isn’t going to get you much from them. I am extremely unhappy with the lack of communication, reliability and professionalism from Game, not once did they keep me informed on what was happening, and as far as I’m concerned what they have promised people is false advertising. I’ll be raising a complaint over this company else where (as I was told via chat I could do so but might not be made aware of the outcome of the complaint as it’s all done internally) but please don’t put yourselves through the frustration I have with this company. It’s just not worth it.
