Unkind staff and traumatic experience

I visited this Gail’s branch a few days before Christmas and I have never suffered such an upsetting experience as I had done in any cafe/restaurant let alone a Gail’s. A cafe I have always loved, valued and respected.

I ordered a Christmas bun and soy milk latte and was served a cappuccino. I asked for a latte and the manager said ‘they are the same but fine if you want me to make you another, I will’
He made another, filled it half way and stared me dead in the face whilst he poured the rest of the steamed milk in the jug down the sink. I asked for a refund. He whispered something to his colleague and they both laughed.

I have a stutter and anxiety. I found this experience extremely upsetting and really wish I was confident enough to voice how I really felt.

Elegant bakeries but highly overpriced and poor service.

If you get served by a smiling staff, take a picture and send to Ripley's Believe It or Not!

Inviting bakeries but poor service. Have visited several times, never once a hint of interest by the staff.
