The place is often too busy, and the tables are consistently dirty and messy. I had to ask the staff to clean the tables, as several available ones were not ready to be used. It seems like no one has time to clean them because they’re too busy preparing drinks for other customers. There appears to be a lack of staff to manage both the service and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Ordered three pastries/cakes, bread and a coffee from the Muswell Hill branch. One of the cakes was advertised as having cream in the centre. There was no evidence whatsoever of cream being anywhere near the cake! False advertising! The bread was stale and hard to cut. The almond croissant was tough and stale and had half a teaspoon of almond cream inside. An absolutely disgusting waste of money.

Appalling uncaring company putting advertising boards out on the narrow pavement with no care for visually impaired or disabled people.
This morning I went to have breakfast at Gail's in Muswell Hill and I was very disappointed. I ordered a hot chocolate which was served in a tiny cup (£4.20) and a toast which came burnt and with a whole in the middle. I paid nearly £8 and I had to go somewhere else after to have a proper hot drink and another toast. The hot chocolate got cold waiting for the toast that took ages. Really bad experience. I will not go again to Gail’s. It’s a rip off.
