Our CEO (Kosal) immediately turned 9 strangers into a fun-loving, “sticky roice family” (said with an Australian accent). He was caring, respectful, fun, organized, and still flexible. Every activity,... See more

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience! Much richer than if I had traveled alone! Got placed with an excellent guide and with a great group of people from all over the world! Highly recommend G Adventures and will def use them again!
First time using a group tour
For a first timer with using a group tour. The size of the group was just ideal and very organised and learnt so much from the group leader.
Sights, variety, culture, history and beauty
This trip somehow manages to include a huge range of scenery in a short time. We experienced sights, sounds, culture, history and so much natural beauty. Our guide Mustapha was a massive part of why the tour was so enjoyable!
The core itinerary is good…
The core itinerary is good and the CEO we had came with a lot of good energy. There are some room for refinement improvements. I was part of the second group to take this tour so I'm sure some improvements will be added over time.
The guides are what make G Adventures…
The guides are what make G Adventures amazing. We have taken 15 day trips and 4 day and 1 day trips and every guide truly knows their stuff and they have great personalities
GLuxe in Peru was fantastic
GLuxe in Peru was fantastic! We had never been to South America before and it was a great introduction. Our CEO and guides were enthusiastic, informative, interesting, fun and generous - and their English was top notch. The accommodation was lovely and we were bursting at the seams from all the fabulous food. The activities were diverse and engaging and Machupicchu was breathtaking. Thank you.
Itinerary is packed with activities
Itinerary is packed with activities. Excellent CEOs, especially Adil. Memorable highlights include hiking to a local farm from Chefchaouen, visiting the mosque in Casablanca and camping and camel riding in Sahara.
Not as advertised, scam. Hostels. No hot water
Not as advertised. Was assured most of group would be in my age range. 14 people- 11 aound 30yrs old. 2- early 50s. I'm 70( American)Not told it would be international. 11 Germans, 2 Brits. The Germans never spoke to me in 15 dys.
Guide was as unhelpful as possible. Couldn't answer basic questions about each location or on much of anything. We gave up asking. She was clearly there just for a pay check. Kept complaining she had to interrupt her real job just to make these trips which she clearly had no interest in. She was never in a good mood.
refused to translate a message at a hotel which cost me $72.
6 hotels- 3 had No hot water. 1 had a long black hair hanging from hot water knob. It was all I could do not to vomit. 3 were hostels. Not 3 or 2 star- but hostels. All of hotels were beat [up, most door"locks"were flimsy latch. That's all. Zero security. Sheets-thin, no cover. Nasty looking. Bathrooms had rust, mold. Old tvs.
We were told at last minute- when crossing from Belize into Mexico to pretend not to know guide as she would be denied entry if they knew she was working. She actually got off the bus way befor we got to the border so we wouldn't be near her in line at customs. Most of us were not comfortable being suddenly placed in a position to risk a crime.
Gadventures demanded customers Lie to custom officers for their employee which means we were also breaking Mexican law and could have been arrested if discovered. This? This is a legitimate business? What would they have done if we were discovered? Would they have gotten us out of Mexican jail or done anything to avoid an international incident?
1 tour guide gave unsatisfactory lecture that could have been in any hotel, school room, bus. No info about Mayan site where we were. Very, Very frustrating. Another Mayan site- advertised as a easy to medium hike. It was straight up a steep, wet mud, boulders, roots, ...rough advanced hike. Under the foliage- a high Mayan unexcavated temple. Higher than any in the complex. Steep going down. Guide kept harassing and embaressing me. Why? He didn't like my boots. How long have you had them, where bought? Do you hike much? I actually had to show him bottom of boots to show manufacturer and how worn. The 20 something Germans didn't bother to hide laughing at me.
I l9st $$ because customer service and guide refused to lett hotel name until night before as if it was some big secret. I had to late cancel several tours because I couldn't tell them where to pick me up.
I had told GA guide- in priviate- a medical condition. At lunch the next day she asked a question about it in front of everyone. The table all stopped talking to listen. She kept on asking personal questions. Completely humiliated. Guide had no legal right to revel a customer's medical record.
Last dinner- paid by GAdventures ( us)- was so far out of town had to take taxi. Playa del Carmen has dozens and dozens of restaurants in town near hostel. My ferry was late getting back. Was told I'd have to pay to get to restaurant.
Maybe she should have paid taxi? Pretend she was a professional?
Happened to see her as I was leaving for airport. She suddenly - for 1st time- smiled really big, ran over to hug me- also not her norm. Suddenly buddy/ buddy. I later realized she was expecting a large tip.
She said it was best I wasn't at that dinner. Best a customer wasnt at farewell? All of those dozens of great restaurants but she just Had to go far away. Why? Told a customer she wasn't wanted.
Over all- NO. Their ads are fake, misleading. Nasty unsecured hostels, immature, untrained guide, poorly chosen, incompetent site guides. The GA guide said the only "training"she had was to shadow 1 time another guide on a trip. 1 time. No leadership class, no background credentials and- was illegal to be in Mexico. Do you want to risk any of those things happening to you? Lost of cost for... ruined trip. All those great reviews? You do know reviews are bought, yes? This business is a joke, expensive scam.

Love the small group style of G- Adventures Tours. The CEO's are great, helpful and very knowledgeable to their country/city.
If I could give this trip a mark in excess of 5/5 I would
I had a great time for all three weeks of the trip. Tash and Jerry made everything seamless and fun. The group we had were wonderful and despite living on opposite sides of the Atlantic, I would love to see all of them again at some point. I would love for G-adventures to offer the participation camping model elsewhere like south America or Asia. If they did i would be among the firstcfo sign up.
Great multigenerational trip
Great multigenerational trip! Options for all levels of ability with regards to hikes and exploration. Chad was knowledgeable about the parks and vistas and had a great playlist for traveling on the bus. Highly recommend 😎
WONDERFUL!
WONDERFUL!
Excellent communication, very patient with lots of questions (if you have them).
Very well organised, amazing guide and crew. Booking was simple, prior information readily available and easy to access.
Will definitely use again and highly recommend.
Great trip
I had an amazing experience traveling with G. The entire Solo trip to Belize was exceptionally well organized from start to finish, with a great balance of included activities and options to choose from, which made it easy to tailor the experience to what I enjoyed most.
Alexia, the CEO, was fantastic -cheerful, approachable, and always willing to help. She went above and beyond to find options that would keep everyone happy, and her knowledge really added to the overall experience.
Everything felt well managed, and communication throughout the trip was clear and consistent.
Overall, I absolutely loved my trip and would highly recommend G to anyone looking for a well-planned and enjoyable travel experience.

Tour leader did an excelent job at taking us to cool places, he was knowledgable and fun. The group was so fun to be around and we all got along great. This was an unforgettable experience and I am so happy I went with G adventures.
A company I trust and keep going back to!
I've booked multiple G Adventures tours over the last decade and still have lots more on my bucket list! The company is one I trust wholeheartedly and the people at G are amazing! I've travelled solo and with my partner, and every time I've felt safe, well cared for and genuinely always have an unforgettable time. There are so many great tours for all ages, budgets and travel styles. I'll forever be a returning, happy customer!
10 day central and east Galapagos on Reina Silvia
10 day central and east Galapagos island tour on the Reina Silvia - April 2026. Went with my 68 year old mother.
The GOOD: excellent CEO (Venus), great crew who worked very hard on the Reina Silvia to give us a wonderful and relaxing experience. Fantastic activities with hikes, snorkelling and kayaking each day. We saw incredible wildlife and landscapes and absolutely loved it.
Angel was a great barman, Gina did an excellent job of cleaning our rooms each day and emptying bathroom bins. All the crew were friendly and helpful (especially helping the older people get on and off boats and beaches). Transport in Quito and in the Galapagos was all clockwork. There were only ever 4 or 5 cruise ships in each bay that we stopped in, so we never felt like there were too many people around. Bed and pillows were comfy. Hot showers with good water pressure.
Things to be improved upon: more fibre in the food (suggest taking laxatives on the trip as several of us were constipated for the duration of the trip); more opportunities in the evening to have a jacuzzi as it was too hot to use it in the break time after lunch.
We were also frustrated that G adventures charged us more for a double room than a twin room (the twin rooms were already booked so as a mother-daughter duo our only option was the double), but then the double room was smaller than the twin rooms. And smaller balcony. Despite paying more money!!
It was amazing from A to Z
It was amazing from A to Z. The food, the culture, the temples, the people, the guide…..
