Although it was a smidge too expensive to continuously subscribe, it was a fun exciting experience and got a bad a$$ speaker. Was easy to cancel subscription also

Scammers

Scammers! Took annual subscription, received only two boxes and the store is closed now. The support email sends delivery failure notice. To hell with you *king scammers and I hope you rot for the rest of your life.

Annual subscription

Had an annual subscription and initially very pleased but then had the same Bluetooth speaker in two separate boxes and on this last occasion two of the same Bluetooth speaker. So have now had four Bluetooth speakers which is a bit one dimensional.

Similar to others below found the contents disappointing after initial excitement (agree with the thumb holder comment).

Products have been reasonable quality but repetitive and uninteresting because of this eventually. Will be cancelling.

*THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF LIFE…

*THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF LIFE AS AN ONLINE BUYER*
I DIDN'T GET A NEW GEDGET DISCOVERY ONLY DISCOVERED NEW TRAPS I CAN FALL IN BUYING INTERNET, THEY HAVEN'T PAID MY RETURN OF AT LEAST HALF OF VALUVE WHEN I RETURNED THEIR ITEMS SEALED BOXES WITH SPECIAL DELIVERY.
I DON'T KNOW WHERE I CAN INFORM IN THE UK.
tried to justify it with lots of controversial statements.
the trial box came extremely late after the order>unimpressed item>cancelled subscription.
FEW DAYS ANOTHER BOX. JUST OPENED IT TO TAKE PHOTOS OF IT AND RETURNED THE NEXT DAY. AFTER I ASKED THE RETURN PAID ME 30 FOR 81.99 TAKEN FROM THE SAME ORDER.
first, they said I had returned the first box which is why they paid the trial box amount. I HAD A PHOTO OF THE BOX I RETURNED WITH TRACKING ID.
I TRACKED IT FOUND IT WAS 2ND BOX THEY ARE NOT HONEST. AND FOUND 2ND BOX POSTED AFTER I CANCELLED THE SUBSCRIPTION.
then they said at that time they did not have items for the trial box so sent me a subscription box first, they have not taken permission for that but anyway, they have taken money for that from my card. but I said, I only requested a trial box at first. if they pay for the return, I’ll send both boxes as I already paid 9.95 for the return.
they did not even consider that they did not admit that sending the wrong items was not their fault.
(I knew I had received a trial box after seeing many reviews on YouTube as it had a wireless charger and a small speaker as most of them get)
IN THE END, the only thing I have is a DISAPPOINTMENT.

Disappointed

Do you want a present for someone in your life who loves gadgets and tech products? Well this discovery box isn’t for you! Ordered a box as a birthday present. So many things wrong, so many reasons not to order from these:
1) Doesn’t actually come in a box, received a perfunctory message apologising for not having any boxes left, after they posted my item. Had to gift the item in a bag with my address on it. Great.
2) They give you a small questionnaire asking who the box is for. I ticked “for an avid tech and gadget lover or whatever it said” you won’t believe what they sent. A Bluetooth speaker, a phone holder for your finger and a portable phone charger. For a gadget lover. Ridiculous. These are the things you give people who are afraid of getting into techy gadget bits. Not someone who loves tech. What was the point of the questionnaire?
3) They email you a discount code. Doesn’t mention any expiry date to discount code. I order it 10 days after receiving the email and it didn’t recognise it.
4) The price. See above what I ordered and have a guess the price? £79. It was so embarrassing giving that as a gift, everything from the order experience to opening the “box” was disappointing. Do not recommend.

Every time I get a package notification email, I start tracking!

Every time I get an email to say that a new Gadget Discovery Club box is due soon I get really excited and start tracking the package— I’ve had two boxes so far and there is no way the novelty will ever wear off! I’ve even purchased more gadgets from the official manufacturers based on how good the one is that I received on my Gadget Discovery Club box!

Bought an annual subscription for £79 at Christmas for a present, only received one box. Contacted the service team and they advised I only bought the one box!

Customer service is extremally slow to respond, have provided evidence of what I bought and still waiting.

I expected to recieve 1 box every 3 months = 4 boxes across the year.

Anyone know how to get a refund, or who to complain to as to me this is mis-selling.

AVOID THIS!!!!!

AVOID THIS!!!!!
Brought the annual subscription where you receive a box every 3 months inside the box you receive 2 or 3 items that aren't even worth a tenner. Not only that but they send you pretty much the same thing every time. Today I received two of the same speakers

A touch of excitement and a fantastic surprise

After signing up for a quarterly plan I was hooked! Then I signed up for an annual plan. I was so excited to receive the gadgets and when it arrired I couldn't wait. The anticipation was worth it except for one box!
As I had a quarterly plan before, it meant I had a duplicate box of goods. This was a bit disappointing however, when I contacted customer services there was no problem and had a refund for that box. There was no problem or any issues and the returned the box with a full refund.
The goods they send are of excellent quality and robust. The goods are very useful and different enough for you to not to have them or an upgraded version. The customer services are very quick to respond to any issues and they are very helpful. I found the company a refreshing differnce and change from the norm but certainly well worth it
