I had a great experience with Fusion Academy. The staff was extremely supportive and helpful for my son along the past months. I think it was critical for helping him adapt to the US school system as well as to Chicago.

The staff and faculty are easy to work with and are constantly staying in front of changes and potential issues that may arise. Our daughter has changed for the better and is developing solid study habits due to the commitment from the staff and faculty.

Supportive educators who truly care about the students and find ways for them to thrive

My daughter came in for tutoring to help her get ready for the high school tests in the city. Her teacher worked really well with her through her test prep books. She liked each session. Two weeks after completing her sessions, she took a state test (not the one she had been preparing for) and went up in her percentiles! An unexpected benefit! Would highly recommend this over the other tutoring centers. It was personal and customized exactly to what she needed. And made an immediate impact!

My 8th grade son had a few weeks of summer with no camps. He said he was interested In learning about astronomy. I learned Fusion has a talented teacher who tutors students in astronomy! My son squeezed 5 two-hour tutoring sessions into those two weeks. Each session was 1 hour of math and 1 hour of astronomy. He loved it!

Everyone we interacted with at Fusion was professional, warm, and highly competent. I highly recommend Fusion and I’m certain we’ll be back. Thank you for a great experience!

We have had two high schoolers at Fusion and it has been exactly what they needed: challenging academically, socially-emotionally a fit, and hugely supportive to our teens and us as parents. A saving grace for our teens who needed smaller, more personalized school experiences. Our son was well-prepared for his transition to college and our daughter who is a current hs junior is once again excited about her future!

My son had a phenomenal experience with his instructor Ian. They explored sound production and he was able create three songs and record them. He also gained new skills in learning how to use the equipment. He left with a smile on his face every session. Very empowering.

We switched to Fusion for 2nd semester Sophomore year and couldn't be happier. Our son was dealing with some minor mental health issues, but being in high school and missing class time while things were figured out, was a huge problem and caused additional anxiety. Fusion was very helpful to get him started quickly and to match him up with compatible classes to make sure his transition back to his old school the following year would be easy. They also did some diagnostic testing to make sure there are no gaps that need to be addressed, that was very helpful. The schedule is a bit all over the place with lots of downtime in-between, but that turned out to be an added benefit for our son. He met a bunch of awesome kids, participates in their band and also uses the Homework Cafe time to get homework done. Although instruction is individual, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with other students and make friends. His teachers are all very engaging and highly qualified, the staff is supportive and accommodating while holding the students accountable. The campus is beautiful and clean with all the resources / materials the students need.There is a tinker room where they can build stuff, a music room and a lab...anything they need is there. Their parent portal is easy to navigate and very helpful to keep on top of grades / schedules etc. It obviously all comes with a price tag, but I feel it was worth it for us and if I'd have the funds, I probably would leave him there. Fusion made learning fun again!

Teacher turnover mid course is disappointing but Fusion Admin addressed promptly & professionally,

Fusion created an opportunity for my student to remember what the love of learning was all about. Something they had lost for various reasons; the pandemic, traditional education models, lack of relationship with their overworked and stressed-out teachers, high testing, fewer opportunities for an experiential experience, etc. They have found all of these things at Fusions.

My son really thrived at this school after a terrible time at another school. We keep using Fusion's tutoring services. Lovely place with lovely, compassionate, effective, dynamic teachers. Fusion re-ignited my son's love of learning.

Fusion was able to figure out how my daughter learned and were able teach her the same high level math course , where she excelled and mastered the math.
