I had a used leather sofa all in tact, no rips, still really comfy with fire safety label attached, which I wanted to donate rather than send to landfill (the sofa which went with it had already gone to the council, so I wasn't trying to save money or anything). The drivers were booked in and we were told it would be collected "AM", when they eventually arrived, they looked at it and very rudely said "we're not taking that, it's old and decrepit, people will just reject it and we'll have to dump your rubbish" and then just left - I was so cross, waiting in and hoping to give an armchair a new home to someone who has nothing, just to be treated like that! I won't be donating to them again.
