My account has been blocked just immediately after I made a deposit and now there was nobody to contact again after their agent started ghosting me for a while. I made a deposit to get a funded account but I didn't receive any feedback from them I was late assisted by the name on my profile picture

I'm unable to find to find the words to describe just how frustrating and poorly administered this business actually is, both for investors and users. All other issues aside (and they are considerable) the communication, or lack of it, is a serious problem. I can only advise anyone to stay well clear.

The business is corrupt was offered payment terms in Tasmanian Devil ties no use to me whatso ever

declined me on the recovery loan scheme, tried another bank and it was accepted straight away

After being a business customer for over 3 years with two current loans we decided to settle them both off. Since we have sent the full amounts outstanding and despite them acknowledging receipt we are still getting demands by email and txt from them to re instate our dd payments due to their incompetence at sorting our settlement payments internally. Avoid this company at all cost! If they can harass you for paying them just think of what they will do if you couldn’t pay!

I would highly recommend Funding Circle and specifically Paige, who professionally helped us all the way through the CBILS process to gain a successful loan very quickly. Thank you again.

I’ve invested through several P2P platforms since 2013 & my first investment was through FC. Over time (2014 to present) I invested my small business post tax cash here, too, then each of three other family members opened Everyday (non-ISA) accounts. At our peak, collectively we had around £400K loaned out through FC. We’ve siphoned out returns which averaged 4.6% over last 7y. Most (75%) of our funds are no longer with FC, but we’re still decently invested & we've been very satisfied customers. In truth, I feel less confident now than 7 years ago, but I feel that way about every single investment we have, nowadays. I don’t think it unreasonable to have a modest single figure % of your net worth in P2P.

Worst investment I've ever made and a terrible company; avoid at all costs.

30% of the loans in my portfolio are status late, despite apparently a balanced profile.

Selling of loans was suspended in April and zero transparency on when this option will re-open.

Predicted annualised return dropping daily.

Tried to sell off my portfolio in January and still have about 70% of it stuck in there.

Cannot emphasize enough what a poor experience this has been as an investor.

Do not invest.

Funding Cirlcle will lend money to just about any company and try to back it up with a worthless personal guarantee that hasn't been applied correctly.

Further more, they will happily lend £50k to a director with a personal guarantee without checking that the director actually has any assets or finance to back up the borrowing.

A recent example is a loan of £35k from Funding Circle to a dircetor that had to go bankrupt after the business failed with debts of over £300k and the only asset the director had was £20k equity in a house.

There will be no pence in the pound return for the investor.

DO NOT INVEST. YOU WILL FIND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET MONEY OUT ONCE YOU'VE PUT IT IN!

I put money in because of all their assurances. I have been trying to get my money back for almost 6 months now and have managed to get about 20% of my original investment out!!

Poor customer service. Dont answer phones. Dont call back. Dont answer emails

I put my holdings up for sale in July 2019, and over five months later they have sold nothing. They have”revised” their sales strategy. It doesn’t work. Stay well clear. You will never get your money out. You may as well burn it. The company has never made a profit. Their shares have plummeted. They are busted.
