Brilliant service and excellent tools. For any level of investor from beginner to advanced, this is an excellent way of understanding and managing a portfolio. Especially as a busy person who doesn’t have a huge amount of time to focus on my investments. I would highly recommend to anyone that is interested in investing and wants to have a smooth and enjoyable experience

I really enjoy the weekly email which gives a succinct and clear run down of important investment news.

The investment tools are great for monitoring my portfolio and looking for new opportunities which is excellent during the current investment landscape.

If you are a DIY Investor and looking for a “companion” to guide you on your investment journey you won’t go far wrong with a subscription to Fund Expert.

Their service is based on years of research about which investment strategy gives the best year on year performance. The tools on their website are geared to helping you make the most of these winning strategies. (Momentum, High Yield, Small Companies or Value investing) The strategy is simple to follow and backed up years of research.

You can use the tools to either build your own portfolio’s or you can follow the many pre-made portfolio’s and let Fund Expert tell you what and when to buy / sell.

The weekly newsletter and accompanying blogs are full of great advise, none of your mainstream “follow the herd” commentary that you get in the financial press.

The monthly teleconferences provide insights into topics of the day and refreshers on investing 101. They also give you a chance to ask Brian questions on whatever is on your mind.

What’s not to like!

The weekly updates, monthly teleconferences and the website provides useful insight for a DIY investor like me. I wish the star ratings for best funds would cover the whole universe ie unit trusts as well as investment trusts. Currently investment trusts are excluded from this research so am not able to decide whether or not I should invest in these. I have yet to see any results of the momentum investment strategy as I seem have joined at a time when this strategy doesn't work, which is rather frustrating, but am holding my nerves.

It's great to see some objective and unbiased investment strategies which focus on performance and process.

I find the teleconferences informative and delivered in plain English avoiding financial jargon.

It has helped to ease my mind during these turbulent times in investing.

I'm someone who is interested in financial markets so definitely find it worth the money to get the research, teleconferences and tools on the website. I don't use all of the tools that I could, mainly because of lack of time but find 'best funds by sector most useful for me'.

I can't always watch the teleconferences live so having the recording is also helpful so I can watch it back and skip to the parts I find most interesting.

Have been a Gold member for over a year now and it has helped me stay in up to date with investing news whilst giving me some easy to follow portfolios.

As a novice investor I find the articles and tools to be very helpful in building out my portfolio and investment strategy. Kylie from the support team is always very helpful if I had any issues

Beware of disingenuous comparisons - e.g. comparing the UK all companies portfolio performance with the much narrower FTSE100.

I joined only a few months ago and have been really impressed by the wealth of information and Brian’s insightful monthly teleconference. I feel that I have a coherent and knowledgeable source to help me navigate the market and am sure that I have suffered significantly fewer losses in this year's downward market as a result. I now have a sensible strategy to weather the storm and look forward to what they have to say when we eventually get back to good times!

Fund Expert is a great service which has really helped me gain the confidence to build my own funds portfolio successfully over the years.

Over the years I have experienced several financial advisors, some good some bad, but the information and knowledge of investing that I have gained since being a Gold Member has surpassed anything previous. The Fundexpert website with all of its facets pulls together a wealth of information. It has lifted the cloud covering investing for me and with the database of information contained in the blogs, monthly seminars and weekly updates I feel at last I have some confidence in investing.

The fund research that is produced for the various Portfolios is invaluable, it allows for the novice investor to invest with greater confidence.
During an investment cycle the research tools that are available defines whether a fund is performing well or not, is exceptionally useful as it allows switching into a better performing fund.
This is most useful with market volatility.

Some powerful insights into the world of investing in funds with information and direction to those with historical and expected better than average returns.

However, response to website sent questions needs to improve.

FundExpert provides an excellent service for those wishing to invest in in Funds or Investment Trusts. Data provided is comprehensive and up to the minute. Clear and precise 'advice' offered by the head honcho - Brian Dennehy.

I find the website useful, and enjoy the contrarian opinions about the fund management industry which I have long suspected to be the case. Also the systematic approach to investing and fund and sector performance data which I can see now is vital. The only other people doing something similar that I know of is Saltydog

Easy to use tool, flexible in searching and saving funds for future reference. Funds performance and investment options explained in plain English and not waffle/jargon.
My favourite feature is the alternative investment suggestions, if I'm looking for another similar funds.

Fundexpert is a mine of helpful analysis and information regarding investments. It balances access to great thinking and research with practical considerations. It provides great tools for the investor to inform their decisions, but doesn’t preach and leaves it to investors to make informed decisions. Brian’s monthly teleconferences are really insightful and pragmatic and you really feel that you are benefiting from his experience, wisdom and expertise in investment, telling to you in a simple and authentic way how he sees things.
