Hidden import charges + extra late fee

I had to pay nearly 40% extra in unexpected import fees — not clearly disclosed at checkout. The info is hidden in FAQs, far from where customers would reasonably look.

To make things worse, I was also charged a $6 late fee because I wasn’t notified in time.

A 10% discount code for a future order isn’t a real solution — just a way to lure you into buying again. I won’t shop here again and will warn others. This isn’t transparency.

It seems like their customer service is…

It seems like their customer service is AI. My issue with them is that FedEx charged me 3 days after delivering my items. I was so shocked. I wrote to Fude Beauty about these charges and they said they have stated on their website that there will be fees, prior to checking out but honestly I have not read anything about FedEx potentially charging me. They even offer “free shipping” after reaching a certain amount! — they certainly had no problem highlighting that. I already had to wait 4 weeks for them to ship out my order (this one I read and they stated it CLEARLY on their website due to the brushes being made to order, understandable enough, but NOTHING about FedEx charges). Maybe I missed it but they should include it on their emails after ordering, highlight it as they highlight everything else. As a customer, I believe such fees should have been communicated upfront, especially considering the high cost of the brushes. If shipping or import-related fees were anticipated, they should have been included in the total cost or clearly mentioned during the checkout process. I had to pay almost £58 on top of what I paid for the brushes alone. And when I emailed them, I’m faced with AI customer support. The polite tone but refusal to offer me any refund was infuriating! They only offer to give me a discount IF, and only if, the cost of what I had to pay is over ¥3,000 for future purchases. And only 10% at that. As if I will ever buy from them again. No way. I’m going to look for a place that has excellent customer service and who are certainly not suspicious at all. But yeah, no more buying from Fude Beauty.

Order not received & no customer service

I am surprised that this site has no reviews, as I have seen a lot of people ordering from here from all over the world. However, I would suggest to never order from here, I have never received my order, nor I was able to cancel. And Customer Service is non-existent, they excused that the order was delayed due to a missing stock item, they asked me to replace it with something else they had in stock and then they went completely off the radar, no one ever got back to me again. This has been going on for almost one month now.
