Good customer service

+ Good customer service. After resubmitting my claim online, they contacted me and my phone was eventually repaired.
- The entire process took nearly 2 weeks, but considering that the device was sent overseas and returned, I believe the timeframe was reasonable.

Quite a lot of forms to upload etc but settlement has been accepted so worth taking out the initial insurance

I always use this company for my insurance because it is easy and simple to work with them. Very frendly and helpfull on the phone, quick to respond

Very Poor Service When You Have a Claim

Had to make a claim, Friendsurance & partners had no issue with the claim itself (reason and all necessary documentation were submitted/approved, the broken phone sent straight away) but it took 1 full month for a replacement phone. There was no feedback during the month that it took to process the replacement phone and... 1 month without a phone! The replacement phone was 'as new' and fine. But no feedback, the length of time for replacement means that no way can recommend Friendsurance & partners

Don't use Friendsurance!!!

Don't use Friendsurance! It seems to be a great alternative to the other cell phone insurances in Germany but it's all show. For starters, the website is horrible to use. I cancelled my cell phone insurance and received an email that the confirmation could be seen online. I logged on just a few minutes after receiving the email and there was nothing there, even the old insurance documents were gone. I had the insurance for around one year and had to use it once, because my screen broke. It was a disaster, I sent in my phone in and waited at least 1.5-2 months. Finally I started to call and send emails and didn't receive any response back. Eventually the I receive a package in the mail, they sent me back a completely different phone (the model and color were both different). Not just that but the phone wouldn't accept a SIM card. It took several emails but finally they agree to have me send the phone back and receive another one. Again, several weeks later I finally received a working phone (again a completely different model). When I tried to call the repair place to ask why I received a different model, the guy told me that in my insurance, it only stated that I needed to receive a new phone, not what kind of phone. I never even received an email back about that subject from Friendsurance and couldn't reach them via phone! I'm telling you, pay the extra few bucks and go through a different insurance provider! Before we switched to Friendsurance we always had Chubb through the Deutsche Telekom and they never failed us. Such a bad experience...

Absolute rip-off

Absolute rip-off. Do you know that you have to pay them the excess before they even begin working on your case? So, your pay your insurance premiums for years. Then you have a claim and YOU have to PAY THEM! No information about what happens if they claim is rejected. No information as to whether they they make the repairs in their own sweet time using their own cheap suppliers, and no information about how they would otherwise pay the claim. They and their buddies at Assurant just operate a massive rip-off. Scammers and scum unfortunately. Don't touch them.

More than happy

I accidentally destroyed the display of my MacBook. The communication was really friendly, it got repaired within two and a half weeks without any trouble.

3 weeks since I sent my phone to have…

3 weeks since I sent my phone to have the screen repaired and now they email me they cannot repair it. They want to sell me another phone for cheaper than it's value, they will cover up some of the cost. I asked for other options instead of getting the phone, they replied that they can get me any phone I want and they will let me know how much they will put towards it. No options of money back. Kind of feeling scammed as they probably use this sequence for a lot of clients

In such a case, according to our Terms of Agreement, there is no claim for compensation in money. If a smartphone can not be repaired, you will receive a substitute of the same kind and quality in mint condition. Please contact our customer service for further support!
