Avoid at all costs

As the agent, I asked Alana for some additional detailing to be done on top of the usual cleaning. I had specific requirements and time parameters that I needed her to communicate with her cleaners. She sadly did not do this which meant the clean did not meet my expectations or request.

During the clean, my oven was broken. I did not wish to complain initially, instead just cancelling future services. Alana insisted on me telling her why I was cancelling. She is now refusing to deal with my complaints because it was not made within 24 hours, even though she asked, and has accused me of writing false reviews online.

On top of this, her service fee is extremely high. I have found out since cancelling, she was only paying one of my cleaners £12ph, but had set an hourly clean rate of £22ph. At almost half of the fee, I expect far better communication and customer service. On top of this, I question the ethics of such a low wage for a ‘self-employed’ cleaner. Had I known the hourly rate was so little, I’d have switched companies long ago.

Alana repeatedly blames being busy, childcare, having staff issues as to why she offers poor service. I can be empathetic to a degree but as a paying client, I still expect my needs to be met in exchange for the fee being charged. It’s also very poor form that she continually blames her cleaners for my dissatisfaction when it is in fact her skills as an agent that I find to be lacking.
