No Response to Email Enquiry re: Service
I had the Butter Chicken Burrito a week ago at a plaza on the SW corner of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue in Brampton. The person who prepared the Burrito was well aware that I am very sensitive to anything spicy hot. I clearly stated that even mild burns the inside of my mouth. I was told that butter chicken was not spicy hot. The sauces I was told were also not spicy hot. Yet, from the very first bite I could feel the burn on my lips and inside of my mouth. After a few bites I returned to the counter to let them know my burrito was spicy hot, despite the precautions. I was provided one small container of sour cream to help neutralize the spice. I found this helpful, but it was not enough. I was provided with two more small containers of sour cream. But it was still not enough to finish the burrito. I requested one more small container, but was told I would need to pay 75 cents for the sour cream. I told her that I had made it clear that I could not take anything spicy hot, but that is exactly what I was served. But she still refused to provide me with the fourth small container to help me with the burrito. Given the circumstances, I think it is only fair that Fresh Burrito supply me with enough sour cream to be able to finish the burrito without experiencing the very uncomfortable burn inside of my mouth. My other option would be to return the entire Burrito and demand my money back, which I did not do.
Other food establishments I have eaten at are able to distinguish between what is spicy hot and what is "sweet". One example is Tim Horton's. Fresh Burrito staff should also be fully aware of any products that contain spicy hot ingredients. Overall I found my Server to be polite and responsive. Unfortunately though, she did not help me with the last small amount of sour cream that I needed.
I found their website and sent an email to bramptoncollegeplaza at freshburrito dot ca, but after a full week I have received no response. Hence this poor review.
