Frequency Tracker is a desktop trading journal and performance analytics application built specifically for futures traders. Available on Mac and Windows, Frequency Tracker connects directly with NinjaTrader to automatically import your trades the moment you exit a position — so you can journal your emotional state, rule compliance, and trade notes while everything is still fresh. Most trading journals track what happened. Frequency Tracker tracks why. We built it because tracking P&L alone was never enough — the real edge is understanding the discipline and psychology behind every decision. Frequency Tracker supports a wide range of futures instruments including ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, YM, MYM, RTY, M2K, GC, MGC, SI, SIL, CL, and MCL, with more being added regularly. Traders running multiple prop firm accounts can manage everything under one roof, with live drawdown tracking, breach alerts, and distance-to-floor monitoring updated automatically with every import. The discipline system is the heart of Frequency Tracker. Build your own custom rule checklist, tag every trade against your rules, and see the exact dollar cost of broken discipline — not just your P&L. The FOMO and Revenge Spotlight flags emotional trades and totals their cost over time. The Trade Management Cost tracker measures the impact of every widened stop, premature break-even, and early exit. The Emotional State Impact feature shows how your mindset at the time of each trade correlates with your results over time. Frequency Tracker also includes a full analytics dashboard, calendar view, reports tab, and multi-account prop firm support — everything a serious futures trader needs to close the loop between their process and their performance. Frequency Tracker is not a broker-dealer or financial advisor. It is a trade journaling and analytics tool for educational and self-improvement purposes only. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and individual results will vary.

Most versatile trading Journal I have found!

I have tried several other trade tracking journals, I have found FrequencyTracker is the most intuitive and effective, with the best features.
The dashboard and reports for your trades have customizations I haven't seen in other tracking journals, that allow you to really dig into your trades and analyze/adjust your trading based on that information.
A few of my favorite features:
1. The most unique feature - You can create rules (e.g. "wait for a confirmation candle", "stop trading after 2 losses or wins" etc), and mark on each trade if you followed this or that rule. You can also create emotional states (calm, frustrated, fearful, etc), and record what state you were in for that trade.
2. The tags for your trades - You can edit those tags after creating them, rename them, merge them, etc.
3. Auto import feature - You can toggle this on to automatically import your trade after you take it. (No more conveniently forgetting to journal a bad trade you know you shouldn't have taken).
4. It tracks your trading accounts - For each account, you can see the balance, drawdown, P&L, which provides great risk management.

Also, bonus points, customer support got back to me very quickly with any questions I had. They even added a feature a week after I suggested/requested it!
