While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

A good competitor of flippa, way to go!
Very cheap listing/selling fees unlike the competitor...
Flip domains with ease
Good, but room for improvement.
Good, but room for improvement. Still a little glitchy, but better than Flippa in terms of service and support.
Awesome service and company.
In a world where other website marketplaces want to charge you a fortune, Free Market shines through. Their fees are very reasonable. They charge much less than other auction marketplaces. Plus support and customer service is top-notch, fast, polite, and responsive. They really care about their customers
Should NOT be charging customers
PROS:
-Industry leading 5% commission rate
-Free to list
-Low cost to get featured
CONS: (I hope you have a minute)
-Unable to communicate with potential buyers
-Unable to cancel listings
-Buyer isn't required to make a payment to use "But It Now"
-Unable to remove reserve once bids are received
-Buyers are fake and don't pay, Freemarket does nothing
-No way to send offers to bidders after unsuccessful auction
-No direct-to-seller PayPal payments (I don't trust Freemarket with my money)
-Support is basically non-existent or replys DAYS/WEEKS later
-No metrics, like number of listing views or watchers
There are probably more cons that I'm not thinking of at the moment. In my opinion, Freemarket should be labeled as a beta and be offering services for free until they get up to speed with functionality. I would strongly discourage paying for any upgraded listings.
Never use Freemarket to sell your website or domain
I used Freemarket to sell my website. The website was transferred to the buyer. After 15 days, freemarket did not pay me the money. So basically I lost the money as well as the website.
Never use their service.
