After the software made a recording of my VCR tape and it asked me to insert a recordable DVD Drive, the software was in capable of detecting that I inserted a DVD in my DVD Recorder. The pop-up message wouldn't go away. I tried the process twice and the same thing happened. I know the DVD Recorder works because I can use my Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Pluse software and it has no issue with detecting a writeable DVD when I insert it in my DVD Drive

Works with most videos however some don't seem to want to download. Tried it multiple times.

I needed to transfer my license from my windows 10 laptop to a new Windows 11 one. I tried re-entering the old license, but that didn't work. I emailed Freemake, and they send me a new license the following day. Well done!

Bought this on the one week trial (extremely cheap) and it worked perfectly. I ripped down 3 dvd’s to my laptop for viewing later and disposed of the original dvd clutter.
Please remember to cancel if you don't want to extend betond the trial period. I forgot but received an immediate refund. I am sure this would be perfect if you had several cd’s/dvd’s to back up. It has several other features but I didnt need to use them.

This is the best video on line downloader ever used. No ads. No redirects to other pages. so far no blocked content. simple interface. no file renaming. just works. thank you to whoever created it. thank you again!

I had Megapack V. 4.x with lifetime updates since 2022. After a few problems and contacting support, I was told that there was a version 5 available, but unfortunately the update had to be purchased. After making a small payment, I was able to install V. 5 with a new key and everything is now working again.

I've used Freemake for years. I use video studio pro for my in depth video work, but a lot of times what I do is very simple editing and file creation and don't want the video pro's overhead. That's where Freemake comes in. It's quick, give some good editing/trimming and then creates a file in many formats. Recently, I've been having problems with both. But I kept at it as both products work great. Ultimately, I found all the issues were Windows 11. I mean I spent months on this. I created a Windows 10 Virtual Machine and now I'm back in business. I never did care for windows 11!
