They will charge you money if you stop using their free plan. What kind of free plan it is. it charges you when you bought it and charges you when you don't use it.

I used their service in 2015 for a while then stopped using the service. Even thought I have not use the service for at least 4 years and no longer have the sim card, I was unpleasantly surprised to find a charge from them today 5/3/21.

I was able to log into the online page. There my account was showing as not active and no phone number was assigned to my account. But still my inactive account was charged for a monthly fee that by the way is, conveniently, no refundable.

Possibly the worst mobile company on the planet ....steer well clear ....customer service only by email takes days ......then no satisfaction with suspension on account yet money still going out of my account There are many far better reliable mobile services out there .....Take my Tip .....do not give your self a FreedomPop headache !!!!.....

No contract required, cheap and many plans I can choose, also there is completely free plan.
I'm very happy with their service.

Now that I have gotten the new SIM card I don’t have anything to complain about, I can use my native phone app and message app. I also don’t have to have LTE or WiFi to make a phone call anymore. Thank You!

I use FreedomPop mobile as a complement to my main phone, a non-mobile handset at home. The price and convenience of FreedomPop for occasional use outside my home is just right.

When I first signed up for FreedomPop, there were some issues for sure, but free? Really??? Since things have changed, my phone just works, all the time, no issues. If you can, save yourself some money and switch. It's saved me a bunch of money. I'm not paid to say this either, I just use my phone. The service works, but at a much better price than everyone else. I'm happy!!

If a service company don't hear from me they are doing well. ;)

Reliable service. The only thing that could improve is to allow renewing monthly a few days before the renewal date. This way there won't be a lapse in service in case there is an emergency when away from the internet. The way it works now is you can't renew until the service in inactive. That leaves a lack in service which could occur in an emergency situation, like a car breakdown. Thanks.

Both my wife and I had issues setting up voicemail with the new premium voice SIM card. Support team resolved the issue quickly.

Freedompop has finally figured it out! Native voice wireless service at a terrific cheap price definitely is great to have. And the free plan is just what I needed for a spare phone.

I've been using FreedomPop for about 2 years. I've stopped paying more than $9 per month on my phone bills and have had 0 complaint since then.

Have had hotspot mobile service with FreedomPop for years and it has been quite reliable. Recently, a service issue related to hardware surfaced and the technical team helped to resolve it quickly. Quite satisfied.
