Booking was ok but it was not an unusual experience. I can describe it at an ordinary doing. The price were ok but sometimes not understandable high prices for a few days.

We proudly celebrate 25 Years in the Skies. Our journey began with our first commercial flight from Istanbul to Lyon on 5 April 2001. What started with a fleet of three MD-83 aircraft has grown into an international operation supported by the strong aviation heritage of Gözen Holding.
Over the past 25 years, we have continued to grow, renew our fleet and connect passengers with popular holiday destinations. Our colourful aircraft tails have become a reflection of the diversity of our passengers, our colleagues and the destinations we serve.
Freebird Airlines, a member of Gözen Holding, is an international leisure airline based in Türkiye. Together with its Malta-based sister airline, Freebird Airlines Europe, it operates scheduled and charter flights to popular holiday destinations, primarily across Europe.

Today, Freebird Airlines and Freebird Airlines Europe operate direct flights to more than 170 destinations with a combined fleet of 14 Airbus A320 aircraft. Freebird Airlines’ main base is Antalya Airport.

If you value your luggage and your sanity avoid this company like a baggage carousel on fire. They returned my suitcase from Egypt looking like it had survived an archaeological dig, then promptly washed their hands of any responsibility. No help, no escalation, just a masterclass in how not to handle customers. If protecting your belongings matters, look elsewhere.

On time. Polite staff. Smooth landing. Clean plain. I didn't try the food though.

A lot of delays. 6 hours delay. 6 hours. Delay. a WHOLE DAY. They first delayed my flight by 1 hour, then by 5 and then by 6. The airplane was broken, and it took them 6 hours to get another airplane!?!? This company is a joke.

I've flown from Düsseldorf to Antalya and back three times in the last three months. The staff on the plane were very courteous, and the price and service were excellent.

For the flight FH 1849 (FRA -> AYT), I booked an exit seat (see attached eTicket) but after entering the plane, I realized that I was assigned a regular seat. After asking the flight attendant about this issue, she informed me that the flight is fully booked. She took a picture of my booking confirmation and promised to contact the airline about a reimbursement.
I have received feedback from the airline that the booking for the exit seat will be reimbursed. However, I have not received any explanation for this and it still wasn’t a pleasant flight.

My Flight PNR : WJ6W22
Our experience with Freebird Airlines was extremely disappointing. During online check-in, we were shown a price of 980 TL for 20 kg checked baggage. Since we were two passengers, the system automatically charged us 980 TL x 2, which clearly implies 20 kg per person. Naturally, we assumed this was our allowance.
When we arrived at the airport in Frankfurt, we were shocked to learn that our baggage allowance was actually only 10 kg per person. After reviewing the confirmation email again, it turned out the system had misleadingly displayed the total baggage weight in a way that falsely suggested it was per passenger — which is highly confusing for customers.
Because of this deceptive setup, we were forced to pay an additional €200 at the airport just to board with the baggage we reasonably thought we had already paid for.
This kind of practice is unacceptable. Perhaps €200 today seems like a win for the airline, but losing customer trust costs far more in the long run. We will never choose Freebird Airlines again and strongly advise others to be cautious.
Short-term gains through misleading charges will only lead to long-term losses. This approach sets the company up for failure.

The staff from Freebird Airlines was professional from the check-in all the way to the landing. There were no unexpected surprises, the flight was comfortable, the airplane was clean. I had no issues which is the best one could hope for on any flights.
