0 star – Repeated unjustified charges despite full insurance

We rented multiple vehicles from this company as we were a large group, and we also had full insurance on all cars. Despite this, our experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

After returning the vehicles, we were repeatedly charged for cleaning and alleged scratches, even though the cars were returned clean and in good condition. We have photos documenting this, and when speaking directly with their staff, we were clearly told that the cars were fine and approved.

However, despite these confirmations, new invoices keep appearing. Every time we contact customer service, we are told one thing verbally, but something completely different happens afterward in terms of charges.

This creates the feeling of a systematic hustle: charges are added continuously, and you are forced to dispute them one by one. Even with full insurance and documented proof, the company still attempts to withdraw money.

Customer service is poor, inconsistent, and lacks transparency. Trust is completely undermined when what employees say does not match what the company later charges.

I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious. Take photos, save all communication, and expect to have to fight for your money.

If I could give it zero stars I would

If I could give it zero stars I would. Shocking service from the airport to a remote location where the car was received from an unidentified office. We had to wait in a car park in the rain for a van to collect us from the airport.

Over a month later there was an attempt to take €96 from my account followed by an invoice for cleaning fees after the attempt was blocked by my bank. I responded to the invoice and got no response, a week later I get the same invoice sent again and told it will be handed to a debt collection agency if not paid. There was no mention of a cleaning fee when the car was returned. The car was returned as clean as it was received as can be seen in the return photos that they have sent. This appears to be a common scam when searching reviews for Free2Move online. Pity I didn’t check them before I rented. Will never be using them again.

Meet and greet at LHR terminal 4…

You get clear instructions re calls and meeting point.
Dropping off went smoothly but on return I had to wait for over an hour as they said it was busy. I was a bit disappointed by that as I've booked a slot and they have the flight number. So I got quite anxious as I had never used them before. Will I see my car again?
A nice gesture was they told me to have a coffee or something to eat and they would reimburse me.
In the end all good!!
But.... at drop of the driver just waived at me and I gave the keys. Same on my return, I waived and I was given the key. I could have been anyone!
So I would suggest giving a card or something when dropping off the car, which you have to hand back/show when collecting the car.

Fraud - DO NOT USE

Everything. Rented a vehicle in Paris for 1 day, returned vehicle in perfect condition, checked out and received checkout form. 4 months later got charge £200 for cleaning fee. Gone down the route of fraud and incorrect information. Police involved.

Convenient, safe and affordable solution. You may have to walk a long distance in the airport but all is about compromises

I found them in Alliance with Lufthansa

I found them in Alliance with Lufthansa, and they have by far the best parking options near the Frankfurt (Am Main) Airport, easy to select and book.

Best prices options as well.

I arrived to the parking lot and went in with the plates, and as I left, it was as well all automatic.

I made a quick phone call to check some parking details, and I received overall a very good and clear service with nice instructions.

This is the worst car rental company I…

This is the worst car rental company I ever used. I rented a car two days ago. At first the car looked like a soda can that had been squeezed and had all the bumps a dents across the whole car, even on the inside. The inside was all dirty as the outside. I picked it up and went back to my apartment near by, to pick up few things and headed for the recharge station, I tried to charge it six different times, in three different outlets and it never worked, I have the transactions to prove it, I also called their customer service to let them what was going on, but nothing couldn't be accomplished, because the car couldn't be charged, in the mean time my Bank charged me 240€ for every attempt I used my credit card to charge it, they ended up holding those funds until this morning. Since I was not able to charge it, I decided to return the car where I picked up, but before that I went to grab something to eat across the street from my apartment, I had spent 3 hours trying to run the vehicle and I had driven in all about 8 kilometers, no more than that. When I was eating I received a call from their customer service telling me not to drive the vehicle because it had only 1% of charge and they were sending a tow truck to pick it up. In all they charged me the full rate for the day when had not driven merely nothing but waisting my time trying to charge the car. For my surprise today I received an email from them telling me that they were charging me for the tow truck and 50€ handling fee. Their response? A bonus for lousy 5€ to rent again from them. These people are nothing but scum, and I will never, ever rent from them again and if I can help other do the same, I will. As for the $150.00 USD they charged to my credit card, it will get disputed and I'll talk to my attorney on Monday to seek counsel about suing them.

Hidden fees for refueling even though…

Hidden fees for refueling even though they say in the app FAQ clearly that it is not necessary to refuel the car. Got charged a ridiculous amount of money after the rental ended and the refuse to refund me for this scam, saying it’s in their Fees & Costs section in a stupid pdf from ages ago. But the FAQ which is much easier to find says otherwise. Can’t figure it out with them so I am writing a review to let everyone know about the awful long term service they offer. Scam company

Great value for money

Great value for money. The company is 2km away from the airport but they were there so quickly yo pick us up to bring to our car. The car was lovely to drive and the staff are friendly and helpful! We would book again!

Very disheartening

I booked a car in advance, no problems at all, that was until i got to the car, well never got to the car actually. The person on the phone was not helpful and did not understand what i was talking about. They told me to cancel then rebook. Then they wanted over one thousand pounds for a new car. For someone in another country, its very distressing if alone. They also had the audacity to take €39 as a 'no show' even though i was talking to them for over 20 mins searcing the damn airport. Deleted app, complained and would NEVER recommend or use again

Jan 8th - update - i emailed as asked only to be told almost immediately that I was in the wrong. No empathy, no compassion as to the anxiety it caused no nothing. Just basically we were right you were wrong, so lowered my star to 1 as unable to give NONE which is what they are worthy of, nothing.

I pick up the car in Amsterdam north

I pick up the car in Amsterdam north, then I return the car to same place, but I get charged 2.99 euro for not parking in the city centre. That fee of 2.99 was already charged by previous user, so why they charged me as well. If the previous user of the car was charged 2.99, then I can't be charged for that amount. The cars are always very dirty, windscreen is always so dirty, you need to clean it your self if you want to see the road.
