There was a clear understanding of our requirements and plenty of material samples to look at and to borrow overnight. The salesperson was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. This will be our "go-to" furniture shop in the future.

Visited to look at sofas. Plenty of choice and plenty of alternative coverings and colours available. The salesperson, Nikki, was a lovely young lady, very friendly, helpful and interested. We purchased 2 three seater sofas at a reasonable price, all completed very swiftly. Transaction done on interest free which was quick and easy. Told 8/10 weeks delivery and they came a week early in 7. Delivery on time and kept informed, all packaging removed along with my old sofas. Sofas are lovely and look great. Will visit again in the future to keep it local and when the service is this good.

Brought 2 & 3 seater leather sofas came on time they even helped move my old ones as they weren’t being collected until the next day. The store and the delivery men were lovely, after the sofas were delivered the staff member phoned to make sure everything thing was ok and we are happy, great customer service, will definitely buy from them again.

Two issues.
G-plan recliner was faulty on delivery Fredmans very casual in their response. Chair developed a further fault the repair of which Fredmans have outsourced but they do not keep us informed of progress and do not respond to telephone calls.
Second issue is a new mattress was delivered but the accompanying mattress cover was not. Fredmans response when contacted was “oh we haven’t got any - hopefully we will have some next week”. Bearing in mind both items were in a five week delivery timescale that is very poor.
A long hard look at their customer service is required from Fredmans.

Today was our second visit to Fredmans in Paignton. On arrival at the shop we were met again by the delightful Alice. Alice remembered us from our first visit when we were looking at some G Plan reclining chairs and suites of furniture. Today she helped us with our choices and talked us through the options of fabrics. Her knowledge of the furniture on offer at the shop makes the trip to Paignton worth while. It is so nice that customer service hasn’t died. Thank you Alice!

Travelled from Dorset to see the Collins & Hayes range of sofa's at Fredmans in Paignton. Met by Andy, who could not have been more helpful. He was professional, patient and highly knowledgeable. Thank you Fredmans, we can't wait for our new sofas to arrive!

Nikki was knowledgeable, helpful,polite and extremely helpful when we bought a new bed.

We were pleasantly surprised by the experience we had at Fredmans. The store is very well laid out with a large selection to choose from. Alice was on hand to give us her expert knowledge, she was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of her way to assist us with our choice of sofas. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Fredmans again in the future.

Andy was extremely friendly, helpful and very professional . Made our shopping experience within the store a pleasure . Will be returning to purchase more , in the very near future.

Today I made a second visit to Fredmans to purchase a sofa. I was met by Alice who had seen me on my first visit and we talked through my thoughts. Alice went through my shortlist of requirements, my preferences and suitable colour schemes and practicality of fabrics, The impressions I left with, having made a purchase was that Fredmans have a policy of ensuring the customer fully understands and are happy with their products and allow their customers time to make decisions recognising that furniture purchases are not something frequently done. A shopping experience rarely encountered these days.

We visited Fredmans while looking for a new suite. Alice introduced herself. She was extremely helpful. We have returned and bought our suite from Alice. I can’t speak more highly of our experience so far with Fredmans.

Great shopping experience at Fredmans Torbay. Alice was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable which made the whole purchase very pleasant experience. Thank you for helping us choosing the right mattress.

We had a lovely saleswoman, Alice Colville who was so helpful in the showroom, nothing was too much trouble, getting prices and looking at various options. When we did finally make the order over the phone, we requested if she could find out information on another product which she willingly did so. I think we may have kept her past closing time but it was no trouble to her. Very good service from the firm, delivery of furniture came when expected from very pleasant delivery men who assembled furniture on site, would highly recommend this firm

Purchased a mattress today. Nikki made the whole experience great, her knowledge and advice is excellent. Highly recommend.

Many thanks to Nikki and also Andy for making furniture shopping such a positive experience - the team are both friendly and professional, looking after me when I had questions, leaving me to explore and take time to sit on and test the furniture in order to choose without pressure and be sure. The showrooms contain a wide collection of the Ercol range. Delivery from Paignton to Plymouth also well organised. I'm happy to recommend Fredmans very highly.

We visited your store to purchase a new bed a few weeks ago. We were given a very helpful and informative understanding of all the beds available to us by Alice. She was a complete delight to meet and was extremely professional. She definitely made our experience very positive and we returned a few weeks later to place an order. What a lovely young lady and a true credit to the very efficient staff at Fredmans.

Alice kept us regularly updated on the arrival in store of the 1920's style sofa that we were after. Alice provided a warm welcome to my wife and I on arrival at their Paignton store and since paying a small deposit has given us further updates on its delivery.

The whole experience was a 5 star experience, from our first visit through to delivery. All the staff were friendly and were happy to help us. Alice helped and assisted us the mostly, and her friendly and non pushy attitude was the main reason we bought from Fredmans. She would politely answer all our questions, and if she didn't know the answer she would not waffle but go and find the answer. She always did what she said she would do, and always kept us informed.

Andy was highly knowledgable in helping us purchase a new mattress - arranged fast delivery as well as removal and disposal of old mattress. Would not hesitate to recommend Fredmans and Andy for bedding and furniture.
