Fire Safety Certificate Service – Good Start, but Issues Remain

I engaged FRA London to carry out a fire safety certificate service for my rental property in London 28 May 2026. During the initial booking I forgot my keys and they were very professional and accommodating so I've given them an extra star.

While the inspection itself was completed on the 28th, my overall experience has been frustrating due to ongoing issues with the accuracy and completion of the documentation.

On the positive side, the initial booking process was straightforward and the inspection was carried out as scheduled. After some delay linked to payment confirmation, the Fire Safety Report was eventually issued.

However, the report contained important discrepancies that required clarification.
In particular, the system was classified as Grade F, despite the property being fitted with interlinked wireless smoke and heat alarms that appear to meet the requirements for a higher classification. I raised this query, along with additional concerns regarding missing details (number of units), and asked for confirmation on compliance and contractor certification.

As of now, I am still waiting for a corrected Fire Safety Certificate that accurately reflects the system installed and meets landlord compliance requirements. Follow-up communication has been necessary, and the matter remains unresolved at the time of writing.
Given that fire safety certification is a critical legal requirement for landlords in the area, accuracy and timely resolution are essential.

Unfortunately, the delays and lack of clarity have made it difficult to proceed with compliance obligations.
