Love the products, VERY disappointed in the company policies

I actually really like Fractal Forest’s products, which is why this is so frustrating to me. My issue isn’t the products — it’s the way the subscription renewals are handled.

Most subscription companies send a reminder early enough that you have time to pause, skip, or cancel if you want to. That is not how Fractal Forest does things. I got the renewal email in the middle of the night, and by the next morning I was told it was already “processing” or “being packaged” and couldn’t be canceled. Their policy also says you can’t cancel or change your subscription until more than 10 days after placing a subscription order, and once a renewal goes through, it can’t be stopped. So realistically, there’s basically no actual window to avoid an unwanted renewal. I understand companies needing policies and shipping timelines, but customers should have a fair chance to manage their subscriptions before being charged and locked in.

Honestly, I probably would have kept buying from them because I do love the products. But I’m not comfortable continuing to support a company that handles subscriptions this way.

FOLLOWUP:
They cancelled and refunded my order hours after telling me it was impossible to do so, after I told them I would be reporting them anywhere I could.
