Not reading messages and not paying attention
Debit card charges twice for a purchase on 12 of July - it can happen - notified Rakuten. It can happen.
Reaction is poor - not reading what is written to them - they say it’s pre authorization and it should be reimbursed (basically not reading my message and not looking at dates) - I write again explaining the details and to look at was written. Worse answer still: it should not be charged…
Added: latest reply also only repeats the same
PS: @Rakuten - I didn’t get your trustpilot form - now I received it
Message from Rakuten sent after this Review- says basically the same - they don’t seem to believe the client when he says his debit card was debited - dont seem to read or try to understand what happens for the client

I'm so satisfied with my purchase, it was delivered within 5 days the quality of book is not damaged everything is perfect and I've already read 80 pages in just one week, this book changes life so if you wanna buy that, don't even hesitate it's worth it!!.

Rakuten service supports deceptive practice seller
French seller sold me a CD in condition "comme neuf (as new)". I received the CD in good condition (I will not argue about some scratches). But what bothers me most is the missing booklet with song texts. It's visible on the inner side of the CD-cover where the booklet is supposed to sit and on the website of the album artist the 20 page booklet is mentioned.
But Rakuten says it's my mistake, I should have asked the seller before I ordered. Strange, when somebody claims to sell something as new, I expect a complete product. Rakuten thinks differently and that's the reason I will NEVER do business with them again.

Unfortunately the reply of Elisah from The Rakuten France Team was to give the impression that they would check my problem. I didn' t hear anything after so, my advise to people collecting CD's, avoid Rakuten and check Discogs for example, I'm confident you will find more honest sellers there.
So, the conclusion is that Rakuten doesn't understand the problem at all. For the last time, if a seller uses the grading "as new", the item must be complete. Why should a buyer ask for more details if the seller claims it's "comme neuf" ? The inlay booklet was missing and I sent proof of that. So, I don't understand the conclusion and I realize that Rakuten is not the place to buy CD's if quality matters. Pity that Rakuten protects not honest sellers.

Poor customer service
I tried to order an item to be shipped to Luxembourg, and for some reasons I am unable to finalize the order since the order process needs a phone number that cannot be filled in ; I contacted several times the customer service to get the issue solved in vain.
