Very detailed reply to query

I put in a fairly complicated query on behalf of our management committee and got an 8 page reply summarising the legal position, including some things I hadn't thought about

They always give excellant advise

They always give excellant advise to our Residents Association for use in our struggles with our Landlord. If a legal point comes up, everyone immediately looks at me says 'ask the FPRA they will know.'

Prompt and full advice

Our right to manage company has a difficult situation with our freeholder regarding further development of our block of flats.
FPRA responded very promptly and fully to a complex query that we submitted, confirming our understanding and giving some helpful advice.

This is a company that is trying to…

This is a company that is trying to prevent leasehold reforms rom being carried out by the government. Leasehold properties are affecting millions of people who bought their property. Leaseholders are being exploited with escalating ground rent with some doubling every 10 years leaving homeowners unable to sell their property. Ground rent does not provide any services but instead is a revenue for landlords which this company wants to support. Uk is the only country that has leashild system.buyi g a property should mean you own it outright instead we have landlords making money out of people's home or charge you to make any changes within the property. This company has no morals or integrity . Leasehold reform will happen and this company needs to stop trying to prevent it from going ahead.

There is no misinformation in my review. It's public knowledge that this company represents the rights of landlords and is against the banning of leasehold

Knowledgable, patient and so, so useful!

We've found FPRA's advice and guidance invaluable. We have a freeholder who really doesn't follow the rules. As FPRA members, we can access expert, easy to follow legal advice, sometimes just to explore different possible options with people who know more than us, without risking running up large legal bills, and that gives us huge peace of mind.

The problem I raised was a safety issue well beyond my experience and its importance and urgency made an urgent answer and action pressing. The advice received from a safety expert was fast, clear, concise and reassuring. Thank you so much FPRA. Who wouldn't want to be a member?

A valuable service and worth every penny

Extremely useful service for those trying to run a residents association. Lots of information available to members and the ability to ask questions and get advice from an amazing team of experts is invaluable. Very satisfied with the decision to join. It was money well spent.

Great clear advice, very quickly.

Great legal advice on our company and how to improve the articles so as to make it more appropriate for the role of representing all the tenants on the management company. Prompt answered within a few days! Amazing. Membership already paid for itself with this one query, and we have more to ask!
